Your assessment of UCLA is flawed. You left out one of their best guards Gabriela Jaquez the co-mvp of the McDonalds All American team. She is one of the top 3 players on by the team. Any assessment of UCLA must include her. Ask any coach in women’s ball if they enjoy watching her play.
She is a good player but UCLA needs 3pt shooters around Betts to punish teams when they collapse on her. A slashing small fwd / guard is not the key to UCLA it is how Jones, rice and E shoot from outside. as well as Gardner remaining unconscious from 3 as well.
IMHO SC needs to decide on a rotation with some 30+ minute players and TJ should be one of them. 50% 3pt fg's? She and TP are the ones that showed up vs UCLA.
Id be worried if my core was already set ... SC is discovering who their core 5 is gonna be .. ND will get additional post help ...thats the 2 teams id like to see what the finished product looks like ! LSU a bit high close wins over lesser teams .. about #8 feels more right to me
@@Swagu-02 the 1 thing I think hindering LSU is the lack of a dominant big. No replacement for Angel, the remaining big 3 are super talented but the lack of a top big really hurts them against a UCLA type team.

I find your current rankings to be pretty much spot on. Would you now agree that Lauren Betts is the best big in WCB? Early on you had Reagan Beers ahead of her. Having the best rim protector in the country, combined with her supporting cast, will make UCLA really hard to beat. It's like when South Carolina had Cardoso. Also, please give some love to my second favorite team, West Virginia. They always bring it, and might have defeated Iowa in the tournament last year if not for the home cooking at Iowa. They almost took down Texas this year, and have blown off the map everybody else they've played this year.
@@back2sports Yeah, I think Betts is more mobile than Beers, and when UCLA played Oregon State, I felt that Betts got the better of her both times. ...West Virginia is a team that nobody wants to play, because even though they don't have as much talent as some other teams, they are the epitome of, "gritty" and they have a great coach.

I agree with your top 10 picks. It's early in the season and anything could happen until now and March Madness. They're all jumping on the ND bandwagon just because they beat the Huskies.
Beating the Huskies was easy, and they will be beat again. You are right, Uconn has no excuses. If they can't beat Notre Dame, Duke deserves your #7 spot😅
I'm a Notre Dame fan and I think the Irish are being overhyped for now. I'm still not over the TCU and Utah losses. I'd feel better if they were able to hang on to beat one of them.
