Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. Good luck with the move
Good one!
Thanks for watching.
A suggestion…can you explore the financial aspect. Moving money to India, what to do with 401Ks etc. That would be a major consideration for anyone looking to move and any lessons learned will be helpful.
Hi, Have you checked other videos on the channel covering on financial aspects of the move? Plz check out this video as an example NRI Financial Planning - FCNR, RNOR, 401k, Remittance, Double Taxation back to India|@NRIMoneyClinic

When she said financial planner, does she mean, CA or it's some special category? They all do the same - advise to buy ulips or life insurance
I believe she meant someone who review your current situation, goals and plan it from financial perspective (Not CA; not tax returns) but some one who review and provide financial guidance.
@@DesiReturn thanks. Wish everyone can find such a non biased financial mentor or reviewer...
They returned because of visa issues, possibly because the husband did not want to live without work on a dependent H4 visa. And getting a GC will take a lot of time, so he will have to live without working(she mentioned no long distance relationship, if he had to leave US). Or he would have to keep looking for his own independent H1 sponsor. They added aging parents to the equation. Weren't the parents were aging till the husband's H1 visa became an issue? But it seems that once the husband got a job outside India, they went again. Parents are still aging. This return theory does not add up. It is mostly a visa issue on the husband's side. Also she mentioned that she wanted an American startup, so that she can keep her GC I-140. Not sure, if a GC can be in process once back to India, but the intention to go back to US is there if the visa/GC is sorted out.
It is not just one reason but taking all the variables into consideration and decide what is right for you at that phase of life.
In my opinion, 90% of people are forced to come back due to Visa issues .
Medical reasons are just a joke as US offers world class medical treatment provided your employer offers good insurance.
sure it is their situation - and towards the end she did mention about visa issues - BUT there are a lot of OCIs who live willingly in India - so obviously not everything is visa issues only
Guys, don't waste time. Honestly the US is not like before you better off stay put in India and make India great
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
all these so-called returnees are taking a flight to earn dollars by ditching their home country in first place and now seeing that they can earn back in india too so they are switching their options, nothing to glorify more than a greed and opportunities here.
Thanks for sharing your throughts
It sounds like a narrow perspective, influenced heavily by some cultural biases. They seem to prioritize their own comfort and convenience above all else, without fully considering the broader social and systemic issues at play.
Firstly, their view on healthcare seems to overlook the complexities of both the Indian and US systems. While private hospitals in India may provide more immediate access to care for those who can afford it, the quality and accessibility of healthcare can vary widely depending on one's socioeconomic status.
Their comments on social norms and pollution also reflect a somewhat privileged perspective. While it's true that pollution can be a significant issue in some Indian cities, it's not fair to dismiss concerns about it as mere whining. Similarly, cultural attitudes towards privacy and social interaction can vary widely, and what may be considered acceptable in one culture may not be the same in another.
Their acknowledgment of the work-life balance offered by US-based companies compared to Indian ones highlights a real issue.
Overall, it seems this person could benefit from considering a more nuanced and empathetic view of the world, one that takes into account the experiences and challenges faced by others, especially those less privileged.
Few people are born privileged and few work hard to get there.. As long as one is ethically right, it's no one fault. As the name of the channel suggests, this topic is related to some specific people who are looking to return to India. Few things in life can be simple and let it be simple!!
No need to get triggered. In fact her perspective seems balanced.
This is her journey and not talking in general. The points are very well balanced. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
WTF? it is that person's view - everything contributes to it - that is their worldview - why does it have to be a fricking politically right all nuances considered shit? we have too many of those already floating around
