Yes! I found that spot using the iOverlander app. Decent spot for a night! We’ve always enjoyed going to the Smoky Mountains. There are definitely areas that are just a tourist trap, but it’s not too hard to avoid a lot of that if you want. Sometimes it’s fun to be a tourist too!

I’m probably biased because I live here and take it for granted truth be told. I’d recommend Linville Gorge Wilderness and the Old NC 105. I think you and your family would really enjoy that.

@@Appalachianventure I’ll add it to the list! Ive lived in some beautiful places and have taken them for granted, it’s hard when that’s your everyday.

It’s hit or miss. The regulator that came with it initially did not work properly (a known issue that Blackstone won’t send replacement parts) so I had to buy a replacement. I love cooking on it, but it takes up a ton of space , especially with a 20 pound tank. It basically spends most of its life on my porch now. We cook a ton of food at home with it!

I did notice an improvement over stock. Not a huge difference on pavement, but washboard roads and big bumps were managed much better. That being said, I have 10 ply tires so it’s not the smoothest ride.

@@Upnorth_overland im tryin to build out my truck similarly to yours with the bed rack and tonneau cover so that i cant take my bed rack on and off as needed while still having the ability to use my bed cover regardless of having a bed rack mounted or not and it looked like to me thats how it looked for your vehicle and wanted to know how you were able to do that

@@Upnorth_overland like does the mounting rail have some type of mounting point or system you can mount the rack on or did you have to modify the side rail itself?
