I've actually been hunting for a video review of someone with the XBRS because i'm not a fan of full height racks and I also don't think BillieBars look that great. So i'm glad that I stumbled upon this video cause I think i'm sold now.
I contacted them and was bummed to learn that if you want to mount Maxtrax boards to the Molle side panel your can’t use the Maxtrax locking pins. Which is weird.

I really like my XBRS and don’t know why you don’t see more of them.
I’m not sure either. I think it’s a great option, especially for a daily driver!

It looks like the weight on the uprights falls outside the bed rails. Does that pull up the bed rail caps at all?
Not that I’ve noticed.
Just ordered mine today, out of curiosity which height did you go with?
