love the campground by the lake - absolutely gorgeous

Not sure when you visited Puerto Deseado. I was there mid December 2023, the penguin breeding and the sea lion mating season was in full swing. I stayed at the fantastic camp site "La Costanera" and spent USD 80 for the trip to penguin island with Darwin Expeditions. Not cheap, but an experience of a life-time.

Yeah, a true foodie never buys extra food 'accidentally' 😁. Another fantastic day on the road! I know there are rainy and cloudy days, but when the sun is out and the sky is clear, the landscape and horizon line is just something else! Hayley's voice in the video narratives is a fantastic complement during the landscape scenes, truly immersing you in the video (yours too, Matt, but Hayley's is better 😁). And her over-the-shoulder look when changing lanes at minute 25 was excellent-her bike couldn't be safer! Change of plans? Sometimes it's for the best, and who cares? We'll follow you all the way through anyway!! Lezzz gooo!! 💖👍👍

Hello adventurous couple! 🙋‍♂️ A few days ago, my girlfriend and I were at this same motorcycle shop in El Bolsón. And another coincidence: the campsite where you stayed in Villa La Angostura was the same one we stayed (I guessed that from the pictures). It's really cool that you're in this region too 😊 We're Brazilians and were traveling through Argentina a few weeks ago🙂 And we've been following your trip for a while now. Another beautiful motorcycle trip! Really a magnificent area with all those fantastic mountains and beautiful lakes. Hopefully you will find the right tire for your motorcycle!

Well done considering your challenges. In Canada my co-rider developed a leaky fuel tank and had a nail in his rear tire. We rode about 800 km in order to get to a dealer who could make the repairs. Adversity is a great way to find inspiration, as you have done, to be resourceful and persevere. AND due to the changes you have discovered a wonderful place that you wouldn't have seen otherwise. Looking forward to seeing your tire changes and electonic resurrections in the next one. 👍

I am sorry that you are reaching the end of the trip, I have felt part of it so I am grateful. I wonder why you did not go to Puerto Madrin to see the whales! They were close by. Being close to the Andes is always beautiful, have a good trip and a hug to both of you!

Thanks for the tour of Gaiman! The canyon views were beautiful. For me, a mix of canyons and rolling plains is like getting a taste of salt and pepper in a single dish. It can create imaginations of times past as well make a person feel more aware of the natural environment around them. Be safe! I look forward to seeing more of y’all’s adventure.

Did you know that that little pocket on your front right, seems useless…..but it fits the Garmin mini perfectly, and look just above the pocket….the perfect place to clip it to🤔👍. Secure and no longer bouncing around.

My wife's side of the family are Welsh and we toured Wales this summer, my 1st time, what an awesome landscape and to see you both ride the Andes mountains just shows how beautiful a journey can be, thanks for sharing.
