Thank you! It's been quite a journey so far! So much more to come. We're really enjoying reliving these moments and being able to share them with others that share the same passions. Thank you again as always for staying tuned BlackThor15!
It was such a beautiful place. The colours were amazing. Haha I'm treating Hayley with my cooking skills. Hope you're keeping well Jess, and enjoying your van adventures this summer.
Those marble caves are incredible, beautiful sights! You mentioned kayaking, which I think would have been fun too, I did the boat ride like you. The water is very cold. Interesting historical note, Douglas Tompkins, man of many things including founded North Face Inc., was kayaking on that same lake, General Carrera Lake, in 2015, winds picked up, he went into the very cold water for a while, helicopter to Coyhaique Regional Hospital then pronounced deceased due to hypothermia. Very sad. He bought a lot of land in Patagonia to only turn around & give to Chile to make parks.
That is actually a very interesting fact. Thank you. We'll look into this and have a read about it. Helping to preserve the parks is such a good thing of him to do.
