I feel so grateful for the way you capture and explain the feeling of Patagonia’s vastness and solitude. Your storytelling truly brings the magic of this incredible region to life. Thank you for sharing my country !
This is so lovely to hear! Your country is so so beautiful. It deserves to be acknowledged as a true adventure destination! It holds a very special place in our hearts. The people, the food, the land... incredible! Thank you 😊
Ah I think this is my most favourite episode so far! You're both so brave, I would have been freaking out with the prospect of 100 more km when it got to 5pm, bet it was such a relief to get onto that tarmac road 🙏 well in guys, you are legends, enjoy ❤
Hey Jess. Ahh that's great to hear. Glad you liked it. We made this one and loved watching all the footage back. The memories and happiness it brings us already is soo good. Yeah getting onto that smooth road and to a town was a good feeling and much needed at that time of night.
Brilliant brilliant day 👌 Patagonia is breathtaking.. the food the wine.. and absolute sheer wide open landscape Hard to beat 👌 Thanks so much for the reminders
Patagonia is such a mixed bag of different landscapes, one day you're seeing glaciers, then mountains, and then barren flat landscapes.... incredible! Travelling Patagonia on motorcycles is the best!!
@ agreed 1000% I did a month from Santiago to Ushuaia back in 2012/13… absolutely brilliant… every day was spectacular.. and the food n wine just added to joy… long days with plenty of light over December/January was also cool
Great stuff 👌 The food and wine is fantastic there. We won't forget that! Along with the unforgettable memories of this beautiful country. To say we loved it would be an understatement.
Vast emptiness after emptiness but still with it s own beauty and the sunset colours on that empty land were amazing! Thanks for sharing Matt & Hayley. 👍👍
We were starting to worry where you'd got to. So glad you've watched it 😊 We absolutely love these wide open spaces. There's somthing quite special about them, when you're just so far away from anything. Argentina is a beautiful country.
@@tworidewild Thank you Matt & Hayley, I feel privileged with your comment 😊 sometimes "life" gets in the way and it takes me a bit longer to follow up on your journey,. but rest assured that I'll never quit being your "pillion" wherever your amazing journey takes us. And hopefully one day we can meet on the road and celebrate with a big meal and some wine too. 😉👍
We absolutely LOVED Argentina. The people, the landscape and the food exceeded our expectations hugely. We have soo many fond memories of Argentina and all the happiness it brought us.
Super episode, glad you see what many just can't, by that I mean I rode that main road north from Saint Julian and most of the opinions online from other bikers was it’s boring with nothing to see, they can't see that's the magic of the ride, like you were commenting, its like being on another planet. Guanacos and desert with winds blowing sideways for 100’s of km, such a unique and special feeling. Cool as cucumbers under stress again, well Hayley it’s getting dark and we’ve still got 150 km to go to civilization and looks like it’s gonna rain, oh dear, well now’s the time to stop and have a coffee with noodles 😅
We were so surprised how lovely it was after all the negative forums we read online... this region was the highlight of our trip! You really have to take the small roads off the main road to appreciate these place's charm! Yes we were very relaxed in this episode (once again)! 😂😂😂 we didn't want the day to end... what's the rush?! 😂😂
Utmost respect to you Hayley and Matt! You are absolutely the definition of intrepid adventurers! Amazing landscapes and very difficult roads. I love your adventures and look forward to the next one. By the way, for my cross-Canada adventures I always had a SatPhone with me (Iridium) - with it I felt safe as I had a backup way to communicate and even use it as a hotspot. Although a bit expensive, it gave me a secure feeling.
Thank you very much 😊 we loved this day, it was such good fun and we'll definitely remember it for a long time to come. That's a good idea taking a sat phone with you. We have a Garmin Inreach but a phone might also be a safe bet. Hope you enjoy the next videos 😊
This topography is reminiscent of Wyoming. I try and find beauty in the barren wasteland, but mostly it just feels lonely. At least you've got penguins to keep you company... all we've got on the Great Plains are jackalopes.
We're excited to go to Wyoming! We love the barren landscapes. It's so much fun to ride. The sense of adventure knowing you're so far away from everything and everyone.... it's thrilling!
I follow quite a few adventure riders on here just came across you guys today so now i have you to follow also great video Can't wait for the next one. This is my dream ride i hope to make one day Mexico, Centrale America and South America to Ushuia, safe travels and have fun 👍.
Thank you for joining us. For us it was a dream, and we are lucky enough to make it happen. We cherish every moment on this trip and we're so thankful we've been able to enjoy such amazing places. 😊
Fences/Cattle Guards... keep the cows in check. They only have a few head on a square mile, it takes a huge area to feed them (not much food out there). Really common in the Western USA too.
Matt, it's Jai, your long lost friend from tubing in Laos many years ago! saw your channel on your IG! Loving the journey mate - expertly edited, narrated and truly intrepid. I will keep following Lovely to see you're doing well pal. Keep living the travel dream
Jai!! It's very good to hear from you. It's been over 10 years since our tubing days haha. That was the trip that sparked the travel fire for me and I just don't want it to stop. This trip has been amazing. Tough at time but definitely one to remember. The videos are getting better ( I hope) as we're learning as we go. Glad you're enjoying them and great to hear from you 😊
@@tworidewild10 years has flown by. I still remember all of us finishing that long river journey and spending 4 days sharing a room together. And the bowling alley in Laos! Wow great memories Im watching your latest video and enjoying this journey you guys are taking. It looks spetacular. And the videos are great! Keep up the great work
I remember it all very well. Really good memories from that time. Glad you're enjoying our videos. We're very new to it and hope they are getting better 🤞 But mostly, they're just so good for us to watch back ourselves and relive the moments 😊 Hope you're keeping well mate.
whats the chance of that small concrete reservoir filling up now? with all that dry heat and all ? maybe the small puddle with easy access for the animals would have been better, since there was a constant pumping action going on.
Don't worry, we made sure it would work properly before we left. It wasn't hot there, quite the opposite so it will fill up rather than evaporate. The small basin will fill and then there will also be a reserve in the large tank.
Very good, but like all the other moto adventure films the standard seems to be action cameras which are great for kids to record their BMX high jinks though hope to see a film camera footage where the scene is rendered closer to how the rider would see the scene.
@@tworidewild A step closer for moto adventure enthusiasts would be to upgrade their equipment for future proofing until retina technology makes that obsolete, and so bring the lived experience an increment closer to their viewing audiences. It is relatively to the adventure but if its a continental tripe the upgrade may be a cogent investment but then maybe I am misguided.
That fair enough. This is our first time on a big trip and also our first time filming and making videos, so we're very much amateurs as far as the film and production side of things go. We'd definitely like to hear any improvements we could make or helpful tips that would make our filming and videos better. For now, we are taking baby steps and we're thoroughly enjoying what we are doing 🙂
@@tworidewild The entry level into higher the game might be a Lumix or OM-1 system (micro four thirds) GH7 and Gimbal or handheld high with a 24mm to 105mm lens and a prime lens with 1.2 aperture for really low light times like around the camp fire.
🧡
