What makes this style of videos fun to watch is the comms system. Getting to listen to the perspectives of both parties. I can certainly identify with Haley about being 'hangry' - hot and angry. I don't do well in temperatures above 80f... and as much as I would like to replicate this trip, I think I'll be attempting it during a cooler time of the year.
It's really fun for us to watch our videos back of us speaking together and when we have our own conversations on the bike. The weather really got the best of Hayley. Abit of a wake up call in what our limits are. With a trip like this, we're expecting both extremely hot and cold temperatures at some point! Our favourite riding is about 20C (68F) now 😂
Great vid you two. That water crossing looked like fun! Being from AZ I can relate to what it's like riding in that heat. Lots of water and breaks for sure. Are these videos pretty close to real time? Just trying to judge what time of year you're riding down there. ✌ Ride safe, be safe. Cheers.
Thank you very much. Yes we're getting used to riding in the heat now and looking after ourselves. We are little bit behind real time with the videos as you can expect. So it would be a bit cooler there now.
Just started binging your adventures after TH-cam recommended your most recent a few days ago. Really enjoying it so far and looking forward to what is to come. One little question though: like many channels recently, you structured your playlist with the newest videos up top, so those of us who like following the entire journey in chronological order have to painstakingly rearrange everything (andTH-cam keeps resetting that work frequently), which is a bit annoying. Is that on purpose, or just something TH-cam does automatically?

How much kg of stuff hayley got on her bike? In a heat like that i go sometimes fully clothed in the water. Its essential no difference after a rainstorm. Avoid heatstroke! I sub to you guys!

The weather changed dramatically once we got to the other side of the andes mountains! We were not prepared on this day!!

Yeah it can get pretty warm wearing black on a hot day. Somthing we've had to get used to.
