I flew AF biz from CDG to KRK and I can tell AF is better than this.

It’s an ULCC and people ride it like the city bus. When people try to compare them to Delta or United it’s like bitching about eating at Burger King but wanting a Five star meal. A to B safe and on time is the only thing you should expect from these airlines.

American Airlines is becoming the next Spirit. It’s sad and unfortunate how much they have fallen. They seem to care less and less about their customers. Hope you get a middle seat review soon. Untied middle was great definitely recommend

For seats that don’t have the IFE screens, Copa has something called “Copa Showpass”. The wifi thing you saw is actually an internal plane network that enables the Copa Showpass through your personal device, let it be a cellphone or a tablet, offering you an array of content. That’s what the device holder is for. It’s a nice feature, but nobody reads the emails and that’s why people don’t use the feature much on their first flights. If you ask the flight attendants they will let you know how to use it too.

That surprises me about the meal service. I have taken UA several times on the red-eye between LAX-CLE & a full dinner service is offered in First (Business) with a choice of 6 meals to preorder for the flight.

American airlines is going down

No meal on a red eye flight is standard for US carriers. You would most likely have received the same service on DL, UA or B6 on a red eye of that length.

I would have expected at least a warm breakfast sandwich prior to arrival in PHL. I understand no IFE, as a streaming service is much cheaper for an airline to provide.

I still want to fly the A350... but they don't seem to operate on the HNL route anymore... also, you can always ask for the whole can!

I like American, United , Delta and Southwest airliens. All airliens offer entertainment at some level

Wow For a business class flight only a basic snack service is provided It’s so embarrassing European and Asian airlines provide a hot Meal for a smiling fight in length of time and distance 😢

I have a few hours before my flight which will be on this aircraft, 757-200! Very excited! Wow, the view at 10:12 is insane - really gives you a clear picture of the very dense population of NJ.

Although I know aviation enthusiasts would be thrilled riding a DC-3, F-27, Martin 404, Convair 580, Dash 8, etc. please realize what a luxury it is to ride on a small plane that's actually jet-powered. Those props were all we had to small communities until the mid 1990's and they were tightly packed, NO overhead space, often no seatback trays, and often very, very loud. My first ride on the CRJ-200 was an absolute luxury compared to the propliner it replaced on the route. I loved it, but as an aviation enthusiast I admit it was not as much fun riding the jet. But it sure was cool. I never dreamed we'd have small commercial jetliners like the CRJ until they came along and wondered why we hadn't made use of them years before.

Great trip report on Delta 717-200 from DTW-IND. Nice aircraft but unacceptable for no service in first class. IND is a beauty of an airport. Thanks for posting.

The scenery was fantastic and though I am dating myself, the last time I flew into Grand Junction was on Frontier when they were a full service airlines offering First Class service as well as full hot meals on many of their flights. Thanks for the memories!

It is amazing how airlines treat their customers on flights of different times! The HA flight you took from OGG to HNL, passengers were offered HA special juice but also could buy cocktails and their flight was much shorter than this one. I was on a flight of similar length to this one and was offered full beverage service and a selection of finger sandwiches along with cheese and tomatoes and pickles so when I know that service can be made available to passengers on short flights it sort of torques my shorts airlines don't! Thanks again!
