It's because of the large number of Korean visitors and from mainland China that Kota Kinabalu airport is the second busiest today. About 10 Korean airlines serve Kota Kinabalu and about the same from China. In fact Sabah is the second favorite destination for Koreans in Asia after Vietnam.
well us bruneian we still called it temburong bridge(the original name before it got renamed)due to ease of pronounce, we rarely called it's main name because it too long (no pun intended).
Hello, nice trip report. After reviewing American's A321XLR, can you fly Air Canada if you didn't fly them or trying American airlines future long-haul flight (Dallas to Brisbane)
First, you should have stopped in the Chocolate & Confectionary shop in the airport to get in-flight snacks for yourself and your fellow passengers. Second, given the "highly subsidized" nature of the flight, it's not surprising that they crammed in additional seats to improve the economics. In addition, remember that Asians tend to be smaller. What might be a tight seat for an American could be okay for a local. Third, around the turn of the century avgeeks were noting that Twin Otters were regularly being used for remote rescue missions. We wondered if production of such an useful plane could be restarted.

limbang airport is slightly a bit more updated than lawas one, the lawas one looks vintage like from the year 1960s era.
