I flew Frontier back in the days when they were full service so when they decided to downgrade their offerings, I quit flying them but at the same time, I do not like AA and UA so should I ever need to get from Chicago to Houston, I might have to take a train or fly via another city, but then with the political chaos in Chicago right now, I don't think I will ever have that problem! Thanks for your review. Have a great day!
Was your gate on the new east side of terminal 5? I have not been to that side yet. It does appear less congested than the rest of O’Hare especially if you taxied right to 22L!
I will give Frontier credit, I fly them alot due to the cheap fares and I only bring my personal item. But they are like hawks with the size, my last flight this weekend, they had 3 gate agents for an A320, 2 of which were scoping the line for personal item bags. Its now no longer possible to print boarding passes from their self service kiosks either. They really want to catch their customers off guard. I agree that their punctuality isn't great, every trip I've done with them at least one flight was late. Still, they get the job done if I need to get somewhere cheaply. I would happily choose any mainline carrier...or even Spirit...if the price difference is comparable.
I am about to take my first flight on Frontier in October. I'll let you know. We plana quick trip to SFO from CVG with a layover in DEN. No luggage or carry on. Only a personal bag. I plan to film and review the flight.
I’ll fly airlines like Frontier if I’m traveling with my son as we can make it an event and laugh, but, by myself and I have somewhere I need to be, heck no.
Flying a United A321 NEO from ORD to HOU the end of September. Would rather spend the extra bucks for a more comfortable seat and full snack and or meal service than with a ULCC!
You all cry about the ULCCs unbundled fares and all there fees. But rest assured if these types of airlines go out of business you'll be crying a lot harder flying UA AA DL and SWA when they rip you off with MUCH higher fares
Excellent video. Thanks for posting!

The first part of your taxi out was not ORD
Interesting flight report 👍✈️🇷🇺

United doesn’t fly to Houston Hobby. They only fly to Bush because it’s there base.
Do you think Spirit or Frontier is better?
Spirit
Definitely Spirit
Spirit for sure except that Frontier still provides free cups of water on request, while Spirit charges for water.
I would pay extra.
I wouldn't fly Frontier under any circumstances--oh, maybe emergency evacuation from the 2nd Great Chicago Fire. Maybe not. What a joke.

Terminal 5 at ORD is UGLY. Looks like its designed out of the 70s. Poor choice on the remodel

Frontier should be bankrupt
