My thing doesnt even wanna charge, red light illuminates for about 3 seconds after plugging them i and then goes out, and ofc headphones are not charging in the process... They do work tho but remain on 10%

Hi Jon. I bought a used pair of headphones (buyer beware) and followed the video exactly and no luck...I even went as far as to replace the battery with a brand new one. When connecting the battery cable it flashes blue but only for a second. The headphones will still not turn on and nothing happens when i connect the charging cable. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

(Do at your own risk): Just a tip for anyone who doesn't have a pry tool: in this case you can use the cap of a BIC pen (the classic BIC pen), by using not the "cap" part, but the long little thing that you would use to hoist your pen on your shirt. It is not very long, but for a simple operation like this one it works pretty well.

@jontriestofixthings3718 no luck with new battery. Red LED lights up when plugged in but doesn’t appear to be charging. The headphones work when plugged in via mini plug so that hardware seems ok. Thinking of replacing the usb-c board. Anything you recommend I do before going that route?

I replaced the battery and it only works cause the battery has some charge left but I guess my usb c does not work because it will not charge even though i know the battery is good

Great video. Replaced battery but no red light when on charge. Disconnected charger cable, did a factory reset by holding both buttons down for about 7 seconds until light flashed blue 4 times. Reconnected charge cable and got a red solid light. Problem fixed. Thanks for great video

Well, it seems my issue is not the battery but one of the ports/boards. My charging lights won't turn on neither the battery will get any energy input. With the remaining 10% they work perfectly, also while wired. Now, I am assuming the issue is related to one of the ports/boards. I believe this happened after I connected to one of the USB-ports in the back of my PC, so I am assuming something got extra power and burned. I tried to check conductivity and I get some weird readings in the battery connector, almost like counting down every second. How can I debug? I'm in Switzerland, would probably need to order parts from Ebay or so...

Is it important to detach the cable on top of the battery. Does it also work only disconnecting the battery?

Hey thanks! I try what you suggested and I waited arround 10 mins with the battery unplugged, after that I placed everything in order and turned them on and they worked perfectly. I try to charge them up but the led blinks in red, I not sure if they are charging properly or not. The app says that they are already in 100% percent.

When I was working out my headphones got wet, and now won't connect, pair or charge. In steps 1 and 2 the indicator lights don't come on at all, and the red indicator light doesn't come on when plugged in to charging cable. I haven't got the tools to open the set for step 3 though.

What worked for me. Follow his instructions but after disconnecting the battery do this next step. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to discharge any residual power in any capacitors. Then reassemble and charge. It worked for me. I did his step but it didn’t work, then I remembered this trick about discharging capacitors by holding the power button down on electronic devices to erase any stored memory. Try it out it might work. Good luck!

Thanks! I had a zip tie holding the side of the headphone up until today, wasn’t a big deal, but was happy to replace the slider and have my headphones back in a perfect state.
