Is it important or recommended to to keep your radio updated?

Just got my new TX16S Max delivered today, followed your tutorial and now it's upgraded and ready to start learning everything else. This is by far the best series of videos for the TX16s I have come across. Thanks for your efforts in helping us all out. Larry

One question: is it the same if i connect the voltage wire at the xt90 battery connector in stead of the esc battery side?

This is a really good tutorial, but it doesn't make sense, or I didn't understand why you use channel 3 for this setup when the throttle is actually on Channel One. Can you shed some further light on that? Thanks

Where do you order radiomaster from? Shipping on orders directly from radiomaster is very high. I'm in Utah. Edit: with a little more research I found that heli direct had the tx16s max 4 in 1, 5000 milliamp battery and red switch caps, all for the same price. They didn't have the other accessories you mentioned in a previous video, but at least shipping was free. I'm going to assume that it will get here much faster too.

Just getting started with your TX16S tutorials. I've been using the radio for a couple years but your videos are still first rate. The same went with the Spektrum NX series radios. Those were a big help back in the day.

Is it possible to import a spectrum nspm model file to the tx16s?

I looked into it and you can do wireless trainer with... I think any protocol that has sbus receivers (including elrs) with the tx16s, pretty cool! th-cam.com/users/livees8MY549_hY Note that elrs can do sbus without a custom firmware now It requires opening up and wiring/soldering an elrs (or other) receiver into your tx16s but it might be worth it actually you could just make a plug into the bottom and have it dangle out

I recently purchased the Super Viper 105mm EDF and can't seem to figure out how to get the ESC working with the MFC-2085. I have the AR10360T+ receiver running on SRXL2. All of the control surfaces have been configured and work as expected. When I connect the ESC, it does the three beeps, then two beeps, it will then beep continuously after three to five seconds. By the tones, it sounds like the ESC is ready for calibration. Please note that I have tried turning on my ix20 and moving the throttle to 100% with throttle cut disarmed. After the two beeps, I moved the throttle to -100 with no further response from the ESC. Have you seen this behavior, and can you share any pointer to resolve it? Throttle is on channel 1 and Throttle Cut is on channel 8 (switch H -> Aux8 -> channel 8). Curious to know if you had issues with the throttle? I also tried the PWM but got the same results.

When upgrading the SD card to a faster card, do you just replace the card or do you have to copy everything from the original to the new? Might be a good option for another video.

So, if you are flying aircraft (line of sight) with Spektrum, Lemon, Flysy, or other popular receivers then 4-in-1 is the way to go, I think that is what you are saying. For FPV flying (drones) go ELRS for the greater range. Is this a shorthand way of thinking about what you are saying? Great video.

My NX8 connectts but will not let me scroll to check for updates? What could cause this?

Hello BD, Could you show how the TX16s Max balances on the two different neck strap holes in an upcoming video with the 5,000 milliamp pack? I prefer the transmitter to tip forward a little bit versus being bottom heavy. Also, do you stand your antenna up when flying or do you leave it laying down sideways. Thanks in advance. Larry

It seems you have been embracing radiomaster over spektrum lately. They seem much more affordable for what you get. Would you recommend that a person moves on from his NX-8 to a radiomaster?

I have a TX16S on Edgetx. I have set my flaps up on switch B as above to go from 0% to 40% to 60%. When I move SB from SB down to SB middle the flaps jump from 60% to zero and then back to 40%. Going from 40% to 60% this doesn't happen. Any ideas pls?

Gret flying, and nice, beautiful scale flying. I'm curious as for visibility, do you think this "Ghost Grey" scheme is more visible, or easier to track in the sky than the CAM, or the SEA paint scheme?

Great tutorial, could you please consider doing a tutorial on how to setup gear door sequencer? Along the lines of, when you select gear down the gear door openes then 2 seconds later the gear comes down. Gear up makes gear go up then gear door closes. Thank you for you videos Best reagards Matt

Very nice, and in this J-10 my mental cart. Question, might be strange comp, but would you say this J-10 handles as good or better than my beloved Freewing F-14 Tomcat 64mm? I realize is a little different in size, but the F-14 twin is pulling 120A.

Thanks for this tutorial. The only issue I had was that after I backed out of the firmware flash, my radio reboot got stuck at the opening EgdeTx welcome screen. I waited a couple minutes to see if there was more going on in the background and ended up reseating the battery to force a shutdown. and rebooted. The multi flash worked fine after that. We've come a looooong way from my old 27MHz crystal radio.

Great video. Im transferibg my planes to the tx16s. A few have flaps. How do you out down elevator mixed in? Also landing gear would be good too then you covered the basics. I just managed the sort out tye ar630 thabks to all tye helpful peiple online. Great community for this TX.

Why would each individual flap have to have a channel? cant the ailerons the on 2 channels and the flaps on 1?

thank you for the video. but when we do that it erase all model setup? and if so, can we just make a backup of all the model and setup and after upgrade the remote, just copy back to sdcard remote the model??
