Short and sweet! A suggestion for a future video - A detailed run through of how we can download and flash the latest Test Versions of the Multi Module firmware to access newer protocols not yet available in the current latest Stable Release. Needs to be aimed at us Old Timers on the Dumber Than... end of the market! 😉😊
Thanks for this tutorial. The only issue I had was that after I backed out of the firmware flash, my radio reboot got stuck at the opening EgdeTx welcome screen. I waited a couple minutes to see if there was more going on in the background and ended up reseating the battery to force a shutdown. and rebooted. The multi flash worked fine after that. We've come a looooong way from my old 27MHz crystal radio.
thank you for the video. but when we do that it erase all model setup? and if so, can we just make a backup of all the model and setup and after upgrade the remote, just copy back to sdcard remote the model??
Great video series BD. One question, have you seen any differences in the Radiomaster TX16s with respect to more or less Holds or Fades as related to a Spektrum transmitter product?
1) Plug Reverse Lead into channel 2) Assign Switch to change as "Source" on same Channel Example: Channel 5 lead is plugged in > Channel 5 in Mixer > Add a Line > Assign Switch to the Source > Done
Thank you bro for this series of explaining ❤
Thanks bro!

Same process. Choose newest version that doesnt have (Stable) for the version.

Yes I had to do this too
Been there, done that. Not too difficult. Of course, there's also the LUA scripts for Forward Programming plus Express LRS, etc. Good show..
Future video will cover Lua Scripts and ELRS.
Thanks this is the best video that is easy to understand. The challenge I'm having is that my TX16s is on Open TX any videos that show how to do that?
Upgrade to Edge TX.
@BDTennessee yes I'm having a hard time trying to upgrade to Edge TX
@@CastroFelix same process.
Im getting a firmware update error when doing the mm-stm-serial upload? Any help would be appreciated

All the models will be in the radio.Firmware update doesnt delete them. Backup the radio is in case something went wrong.
@@BDTennessee thank you so much. did the upgrade and it work. but now have to get use to the new display...lol
@@lucbrodeur9193 new look and better all around.

Similar results but sometimes better... I trust as much as Spektrum transmitter which had never gave me issues either...
hi , any idea how to thrust reverse a freewing edf motor ? im using a radio master tx16 s mkii max .
Plug the reversing lead from the ESC into a servo port and add a switch as the input to that channel. Nothing to it..
1) Plug Reverse Lead into channel
2) Assign Switch to change as "Source" on same Channel
Example: Channel 5 lead is plugged in > Channel 5 in Mixer > Add a Line > Assign Switch to the Source > Done
Its easier to just flash edgetx using buddy. You just leave the transmitter off
I have seen connecting issues by using edge tx buddy sometimes. Works correctly its good too...
