Brilliant video. Ive been trying to figure it out without success until now !! Thank you. Ian UK
Glad to hear Ian!
You are amazing man . Thank you very clear explanations. Love from Saudi Arabia ❤
Thanks for the feedback!
You made this setup so much simpler than any other video I have seen. First time I tried to setup flaps was a nightmare.
Good to hear. Glad you got it!
Great video. Im transferibg my planes to the tx16s. A few have flaps. How do you out down elevator mixed in? Also landing gear would be good too then you covered the basics. I just managed the sort out tye ar630 thabks to all tye helpful peiple online. Great community for this TX.
Video releasing tomorrow on elevator compensation.
Gear - Assign a channel and choose Switch for source.
Did like you say but not working... When you select ch is it supposed to be on the aileron ch or just any open ch..
Open channel.
@BDTennessee thanks for getting back to me, just got back from flying, I'll try again tomorrow..
@@BDTennessee just wondering will that work the same for flaperrons? That's what I'm trying to do...or does it have to be on just a separate ch fo flaps? Thanks
@@Giovanni_Adventures could use the curves on each channel too
BD you're off on the TX's now, I'm still on the iX14. I've got a question if you have the time brother I'd appreciate the help.
I've looked all over the place and I'm not getting the answer....
Maybe you can help me with a question I have on mixes? Or maybe someone here has the answer.
On my 3D planes I split ailerons and make mixes for harrier flaps, or crow, snapflaps or whatever
I set each mix to a different switch, the problem is: if I forget harrier flaps on and then switch Crow on or whatever.... well I have goofy things happening and it's damn near a crash 💥 unless I'm quick.
I would think Flight Modes would be the trick or maybe I need to set everything to the same 3 way switch?
If I switch to a different mix I need the mix I was using to be turned off.
Any ideas? 💡 thank you BD, you've helped me a ton every time I've upgraded transmitters!
Great video but why do u need a curve on the flaps Seems like overkill.Spectrum does this so much easier .
Spektrum has flap system menu where values are added. So initially will be easier. However using this curve takes minimal time. I have another method being released too, which i prefer more.
@BDTennessee as I said while I find your videos maybe the best reguarding info. On YT .But I truthfully find the flaps setup a bit overkill Been flying for over 30 years. But I respect it .
Hi there, I’ve tried the “slow up” and “slow down” function but it doesn’t seem to be working😢 my flaps still snaps up/down immediately even when it’s set to 20 sec. Would really appreciate your help on that!
You need to put slow on each switch position
That’s what I did though under “Mix” but no luck. Don’t know what else I’m doing wrong..
2 reasons this would happen.
1) Follow each step in case something was missed.
2) Update Edge TX firmware.
I have helped others with this issue and they had old firmware.
@@Mikeylikesit1968 only have one line using this setup...
Thanks for taking the time to make this video, very helpfull!!!🇨🇦
