DIY Firewood Tote!
I have been wanting to have something like this for a while now. I was able to cobble this together at essentially no cost, and I love it already. I figured out it holds about twice as much firewood as my loader bucket on the Kubota L2501, and it fits better next to my firewood storage racks.

    Thank you so much for this wise and timely advice. I and a few friends and relatives have been battling wild rose in an abandoned cemetery in Newfoundland that only a few of us care about. It just keeps coming back because the experts on cemetery restoration have cautioned us firmly not to use herbicides. Your method seems safe and effective and we will give it a try. We just won't tell the experts how we conquered the problem.

    Good evening John. Very handy tote that you built for your firewood. Worked out great to transport your firewood through the narrow path. Those are pretty nice free cedar and pressure treated boards you picked up from just down the road. Having a resource of scrap wood nearby to access for projects like the tote is awesome. I was curious to how the L2501 would handle a full load in the tote, but the darn rain spoiled it, lol. Have a great week!

    Good evening John. The 346 is a great little 50cc saw, It likes that Stihl bar oil, lol. I use the same in my Husqvarnas. You got some nice firewood and mill logs out of that ash. You're a great neighbor to turn your attention to cleanup the ash tree and let your neighbor know the fence is down. I spent the entire day cutting ash trees, it was hot and humid, but I love the heat. Excellent sticker shout-outs of 2 great channels. @thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849 I thought you were just trying to get us to respond 😅. I've been dropping a few at a buddies, clearing all the way to the pool/house. After that last one I'm real glad we're getting it done. Little tip with the no spill cans; if you put the nozzle in until the little stop on it touches the saw tank, then push the button, it will fill until the saw is mostly filled without even having to pay attention.

    We had over 200 dead ash trees that we logged off this spring. $.07 / per board foot. We had a couple semi loads of walnut that we cut out of the fence rows. We had one that was massive and we were disappointed to find out that it was hollow. The loggers said had it not been hollow, it would have broken their record for the highest yielding/ paying tree that they had ever harvested I had them cut a couple huge red oaks that wind storms had destroyed the tops @ $.20 / board foot I had them take a basswood that was in a precarious spot and that tree alone yielded over 1000 board feet @ $.30 Crazy that the basswood is worth more than oak

    • @thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849
      @thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849 8 วันที่ผ่านมา
