I had to stop and think how I was going to thank you John. You have a great channel John. And I surely enjoy watching. I sure do like our chats about how to do things. You’ve got some clean up there for sure. Those saws run great. But that Husqvarna saw may not like the Stihl bar oil. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 Yes. The breeze. I understand fully. We get those here too. They are wonderful. Thank you so much for your kind words and the placement of my sticker. Gary is top shelf guy and I enjoy his channel and kind words too. It would be very nice if we could meet someday and shake hands and cut, split, cut trees down together. Thank you John And as always. Have a great day. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Good evening John. The 346 is a great little 50cc saw, It likes that Stihl bar oil, lol. I use the same in my Husqvarnas. You got some nice firewood and mill logs out of that ash. You're a great neighbor to turn your attention to cleanup the ash tree and let your neighbor know the fence is down. I spent the entire day cutting ash trees, it was hot and humid, but I love the heat. Excellent sticker shout-outs of 2 great channels. You are an outstanding individual, it would be awesome to live on the same road for sure. Take care my friend!
Thank you, Paul! I really do wish we were all closer. I can only imagine how much each of us could get done if we pooled our efforts! But at least with YT, we can learn so much from each other!
Excellent saws Mr. John. The 346 was and is an excellent machine. The Donnie Walker Dolmar put on a show! Great sounding saw. You have days of work to go yet once the sawmill starts up. I say you did great on this long format Mr. John...well done sir.
Thank you, Brian! One of these days, you will have to stop by and show me that amazing axe swing technique of yours. Trust me, there will still be plenty of ash on the ground!
Nice clean up John. I have a similar saw and they are just a solid saw and enough power for most jobs. Be safe my friend and looking forward to seeing you at the Bunyan event. 👍👍
Thank you, Marty! I have always loved that little saw. At some point, I will have to start thinning out my saw collection, but I cannot ever think about letting that one go! Bunyan is right around the corner!
We had over 200 dead ash trees that we logged off this spring. $.07 / per board foot. We had a couple semi loads of walnut that we cut out of the fence rows. We had one that was massive and we were disappointed to find out that it was hollow. The loggers said had it not been hollow, it would have broken their record for the highest yielding/ paying tree that they had ever harvested I had them cut a couple huge red oaks that wind storms had destroyed the tops @ $.20 / board foot I had them take a basswood that was in a precarious spot and that tree alone yielded over 1000 board feet @ $.30 Crazy that the basswood is worth more than oak
Good evening John, Great video, sorry to hear about the damage from the storm. We just dodged hurricane Ernesto, it looks like it will pass just offshore from us , and we are grateful we will not feel it's effects. I'm with you, the great people we have met through youtube. It would be wonderful if we all lived in the same neighborhood. Have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍🍻
Hey Brett! You know, after I said "543", I started second guessing myself. Thanks for the clarification. Looks like you have been dropping some trees lately out your way!
@thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849 I thought you were just trying to get us to respond 😅. I've been dropping a few at a buddies, clearing all the way to the pool/house. After that last one I'm real glad we're getting it done. Little tip with the no spill cans; if you put the nozzle in until the little stop on it touches the saw tank, then push the button, it will fill until the saw is mostly filled without even having to pay attention.
Good afternoon John!
Noel has a great channel and certainly belongs up there at the top of your door.
The place reserved for the champions!!!
😀
Amen, Gary!!!!
Wow John!
Thanks so much for the shoutout and the showing off of the sticker!
My pleasure, Gary! That is an awesome sticker!!!!
Thank you John. I will message again in a bit. Thank you.

Noel: You just never know.....I am not that far away from retirement. So, I may just be waiting at your favorite coffee shop to buy you a cup one day!

Gary....it is surprising that basswood garnered more than the oak. I have been selling the maple and oak that I mill for about $1.00/board foot.

Hey John, That little saw can cut. So I googled that saw, looks like you can by them remanufactured from a few places. Loved the warning sticker, lol
@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors Thanks, Joey!!!!! Hope the building is coming along well!
Good evening John.
The 550 replaced the 346, I have a couple of each 😅.
Be blessed.
