Thanks for the video.I agree that this model does a great job looking and sounding like the real trains. I live in suburban Philadelphia and got to ride these trains when the Red Arrow bought them and repainted them in their colors and called them Liberty Liners. I worked attending college in a store on Rt.30 and rode the liners between 69th street and Villanova. Unfortunately although I own several MTH items I never knew they made this model and the Liberty Liner model. I would have liked to have one to run on my O gage model railroad just to relive the memory of ridding them.

I have a Pennsylvania F7 Legacy and it keeps having a short where it will go off then back on really quickly. I was told it was a track problem. What do u use to keep your tracks together tightly?

For an anniversary set, this is a joke. Its unattractive, lacks critical detail [like windshield wipers, little green lights on the sides ,double head light...etc.]. My legacy Santa Fe #19, is by far the best looking, with the best detail, even if the powered B unit never ran correctly in a latch-up. The best looking thing here was the box it came in.

I really like lionel's older O-36 pacifics like this one. My favorites are the Erie pacific and the Chicago & Alton pacific.

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR TRAINS FROM I LOOKING TO START MY COLLECTION .

I have a Pennsylvania F7 which is also a Lionel Legacy I got off of Ebay. Theres a problem with mine. I use a Lionchief controller and it keeps having drops causing the train’s sound effects to go off then back on while in motion. Is this because Im using a Lionchief controller? All my other trains dont have voltage drops. Do I need a Legacy Remote for it to work properly? Its also worth to mention that I have a power box that gives decent enough power

I have it and love it!

I just wish Lionel/K-Line would have made those interburban coaches with removable roofs. As well as an option to get different truck frames. I model the Reading Blueliners, so i would love to have an accurate set. Not an Pennsy MP-54 w/ fantasy scheme.

As a kid I first saw a big boy in book.I thought my eyes were not working right."What an I looking at?This locomotives looks like it has 2 sets of drivers.Then I saw it in h.o. Yep what you have is 2 locomotives under one frame.And I learned the railroad in my home town.The Seaboard Air line railroad had some 2-6-6-4 pulling freight. My home town also had a roundhouse.I wonder how many boxcars can this pull?Most likely at least 60 boxcars.
