Such a helpful video, thank you!
Great video Do you have a supplier for Helianthus Flore Pleno??
Gorgeous blooms!!! As always beautifully done video. :^)
Your gardens are so beautiful! New sub! ❤😊❤
Thanks for sharing !!! 🌻
I’ve watched so many gardening videos they’ve all started to blend together with the same old information. You have given me more clarity from watching two of your videos then I’ve gotten in six months of scooting all over you tube. Thank you so much 😊 I do have a couple of channels I adore, I did need to clarify that 😅
I love this video so much! Where did you purchase your Helianthus plants from? I need to grow it lol
Glad to hear this was helpful! Check out Bluestone Perennials.. that’s where I got my plants from :)

Enjoy the variety of annual flowers, but have interest in perennial flowers. Please consider a video for this type of flower.
Where do you purchase your celosia seeds?
All the celosia varieties I shared came from Floret Flower Farm- and unfortunately they are not having a seed sale this year, but Johhny's Selected Seeds has released some new celosia varieties that look promising!
Where did you source your Summer Sherbert Celosia seeds? I’d love to grow that variety and only see it available on Etsy (so hesitant to purchase in case it’s not a true seed mix). Thank you for this awesome video!!
The celosia varieties as well as the Golden Hour Zinnia seeds were purchased from Floret Flower Farm- and unfortunately, they're not having a seed sale this year but Johnny's Selected Seeds has some fun new introductions of both zinnia + celosia varieties that look like they could be a fun substitute :)
Extremely helpful. Thank you for sharing!
So excited you found it helpful! ✨
Where's the update?
I have already ordered the dibbler. The link you posted for those (company does not ship to Canada)
That’s a bummer… I'll have to see if I can find some similar alternatives! Thanks for letting me know:)
Great video. By the way, epitome is pronounced uh-pih-tuh-mee
Bolstered by my success last year (I managed to get one single hollyhock and one delphinium to maturity) I decided that this year I would try to grow EVERYTHING and have already started stock, lisianthus, eucalyptus, and carnations. Figured I'd go for the hard stuff my first year because if I was *too* successful I would run out of outdoor planting space 🤠
That is quite the ambitious start to the season! I love that strategy! Wishing you an abundantly beautiful season ahead- you got this!
Cornel Bronze blends well into almost any bouquet. So useful. Pairs well with echinacea Clay.
You're right, the cornel bronze is a workhorse!
Wow, all of your flowers are gorgeous! Do you have a video of how you prep your beds? Your celosia is amazing!
Thank you for your kind words! And yes, there is a slightly older video on our channel that shows how we make our beds.. if you scroll back it should be titled "Planting Our Quarter Acre Cut Garden" (or something similar to that)
I started as a flower garden and some how I ended growing a kitchen garden due to the high cost of living. However your video has inspired me to plant as many beautiful flowers now the problem is how can I grow both with limited space 😢. Anyway awesome video and thanks so much for bringing my day with your incredible knowledge and talent 😊❤
You can grow so much even with limited space! Annuals are especially great for that since you can plant them closer than you traditionally would with perennials. We plant all our flowers just 9 (sometimes 12inches apart)! You got this!
Love this video!! Some things I already knew and agree with you on and some new varieties to me. Thanks for taking the time to create this and it was soooo nice to see blooms ❤ I look forward to the dahlia video. On a average how many of each variety of Dahlias to you plant? We are moving my flowers to a different area of our property so I am rethinking EVERYTHING 😂 I have yet to have a good crop of celosia 😢 Thanks again!
So glad you enjoyed this video! Have patience with the celosia... I have a feeling you’ll be a celosia master in no time! 🧡 As for dahlias, years in to growing them, I now prefer to have "more tubers" of "fewer varieties".. so on the low end, I'll have maybe 20 of a variety but ideally I aim to have 50-75 plants of each variety :)
@twosistersflowerfarm thank you for the dahlia info. I am looking forward to your Dahlia video! 🌿💕
I’ll be growing asters for the first time this spring.
Super exciting! Wishing you the best of luck with them! ✨❤️
uh-pi-tuh-mee. Not eh-pi-tome. Which i mean helpfully, not meanly. Mispronouncing words means you're stretching your vocabulary. Super!
Haha yes ;) I try and speak faster on camera than in real life and my brain doesn’t always keep up… I knew it as soon as I said it but decided to keep chugging along rather than re-record ❤️
Queen Anne's lace
Great choice!
I am a fan of your videos. This one is just what I was looking for. I am starting my first flower garden now just to try and learn from. Marigolds were one I was going to not plant however I will now try the ones you suggested. Thank you. I have learned a lot from you PS I like your new hair cut and color
Wonderful! Thank you so much for your kindness! I’m so excited for you to be starting a flower growing adventure yourself! Wishing you an abundantly beautiful season ahead ✨❤️
I love your videos, this one was perfection!
So glad you enjoyed it!✨ Thank you so much for your kind words!
Your celosia are incredible, i will persist until I get these mastered.
Thank you so much! Keep trying... you will get there!
Great presentation of the different flowers. I want to grow each variety now. ☺ Do dahlias need cold storage?
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Dahlias need to be stored in areas that experience extended stretches of cold. Generally USDA hardiness zones 7 and below need to dig their dahlias each year and store them in the winter before planting them out the next spring.
I love your list. I wrote down a few that I haven’t tried before including helianthis flore pleno. I need to try that one as I feel like I need something yellow but I am not fond of yellow snaps or yellow marigolds.
They are so unique! I love how they have a different shape than other yellow sunflowers.
Great video, that took a lot of work!!
Yes it was! Thanks for noticing ❤️ and thanks for tuning in!
Hi, this is Joanne from California. I would like to know what website could I purchase these seeds that you mention in your videos, I’ll keep watching thank you.❤
Most of these varieties can be purchased from Johnny’s Selected Seeds✨
And where the mothed. Please??
Hi guys love heart me Together Together 🌵🍉🍰🍎🌻🌼🌲🌸🌱🍆🌽
Thank you for making this video Very informative
So glad it was helpful!
What is the name of that rose? ❤ -Thanks :)
love china asters, variety of colors and a filler with presence or even a focal
Such a great option! You’re right..they’re so fun!
Where did you get the Flore Plano Sunflowers?
Bluestone Perennials ✨
I can’t even tell you how helpful this video is I learned so much!! And as an elementary teacher, I can tell you that you seem to intuitively know how to teach! You speak nice & slowly & clearly, & gave multiple modalities for learning, e.g. speaking, diagrams, pictures, simple language, repetition… I’m so excited to have found your channel!!
Thank you so much! I’m so excited you’re here! ✨ It makes me happy to hear my approach is helpful! Wishing you lots of success with your flower growing!
Oh dear, I thought it would be easy to choose from your list 😳, after each flower type and colour, it was " I like that, or oh I love those" . I want to grow a cottage garden and interplant with vegetables. I like to grow sunflowers, zinnia and aster
Haha it’s hard to simplify when all the flowers are so beautiful 🤣 Love the idea of a cottage garden! Someday I’d love to design one myself ❤️
Middle of summer in Australia - waiting for all these to start cranking ! Actually - DESPERATE - need those zinnias for focals. Enjoyable video 🎉
Your zinnias are going to be amazing! They seem to always have the tendency to show up at just the right time! Enjoy the summer weather… I’ll admit, I’m a bit jealous 😉…we’re experiencing quite the opposite right now 🥶❄️
Great to see you back! I grew the Pro Cut Gold Lite last year, they are stunning in person. The Madame Butterfly Red snaps I planted a few years ago have been coming back each year since. Excited to plant the Benary Giant Wine zinnia this year and will also be trying the White Swan marigold.
Thanks for sharing your favorites- love hearing what's working for you! That White Swan is going to be a stunner! 🧡
I am totally swooning over your gorgeous flowers! You are so talented to grow such jaw dropping beauties! 😍 I loved hearing about your top cut flower picks. My faves to grow are zinnias, starting them early indoors as my Zone 3 has a short growing season. Having heard that Floret wouldn’t be having a seed sale this Spring, I let many of my Floret zinnias go to seed last Fall. I collected approximately 1500 and am looking forward to seeing what they will turn into this summer! 💐🇨🇦
You are so incredibly kind! Thank you for your encouraging words! Here’s to hoping your zinnias seed saving rewards you with some stunners 🤞✨❤️
@ I speak (type) the truth, your blooms are works of art! Thank you for sending good vibes my way for some happy zinnias this year!! 🥰🇨🇦
Immediately bought flora pleno <3
Love that!! ✨
Where did you find it? Can you grow from seed?
Ditto with Worley_Farm_n_Flower 💜 🌻
Awe thanks so much!! ✨☺️
Hi, I also love scabiosa a lot, they are not difficult to grow, they flower very long and come in many colors 🙂
So true! Love how unique looking they are..truly one of a kind!
Agree 🎉
Hey Britney, loved the video…just beautiful!! I noticed you included Floret’s Golden Hour Zinnias‘s. Is she selling those this spring? Also, I absolutely love Oklahomas but have not been able to find the Ivory. Do you have a source for them? Thanks again for your informative videos!!
Thanks Susan! From what I heard last year, Floret will not be having a seed sale this year, but Johnny's has a new zinnia introduction this year called Ballerina (and I'm interested to see how it compares). As for the Oklahoma Ivory, I always purchase them from Johnny's.. looks like they're backordered right now but should have more stock come March :)
Missed you and your videos
Thank you! I've truly missed this amazing community on here! Appreciate you hanging around!
It is so good to get some more great insight from you, Britney! I grew two kinds of marigolds last year that I really liked - Chiffon and Homecoming. Both did very well and were different enough in colors to be able to be used well in various bouquets.
Thank you so much for tuning in, Lynn! And thanks for sharing those marigold varieties- I haven't tried either but I just might have to add them to the list this year ❤
I grow these too but I thought they were heritage chrysanthemums..
Really enjoyed your list and reasons....🌱💚
So happy to see you back!!!
So kind of you! It feels so great to be back on here! Thanks for continuing to tune in:)
So happy to see a video from you!
Awe thank you so much! Feels good to be sharing on here:)
This was so helpful!!
