Thank you for sharing ! I noticed 2 more things this year. Contrary to what I hear, my dahlias do have a very long vase life (over 3 weeks) because they make roots easily when put in water (which seems logical for plants of which you can take cuttings) especially the side shoots (like tomato plants). Hence, I suppose that we can easily take numerous cuttings any time during the growing season. I got some in September and the main problem will be to keep them alive until next spring …
Thanks for tuning in- and good eye! Yes it's a tray dibber I randomly purchased off of Amazon this spring. I didn't expect to love it so much but it truly does help to speed up things when I'm planting a lot of trays! I'll try and link it here if you want to take a closer look: amzn.to/46UD1wl
If you scroll back to a previous video here on our channel l, you’ll find that we shared a tour of our dahlia patch and included the names of many of the those varieties in that video. Just look for “Favorite Dahlia Varieties to grow as Cut Flowers” 🧡
Thank you for all this invite! I love dahlias and would love to try to grow them!
Great video!!
How many plants of each variety do you grow?

Oh wow! That's really interesting.. thanks for sharing your experience :)
Especially the one in your Background!
I just took cuttings from my sweet potato, great experience, same concept
That is awesome!
Good video but would love to hear how you store them also!
Filmed our digging + storing process last season- you can find that video linked in the description box.
Hi, wonderful
I bought 10 tubers. First time ever. I want to buy more now, bad idea? ❤
Go for it!
My dahlias had powdery mildew. Any suggestions as to avoid this next year or should I throw these tubers out?
Powdery mildew shouldn’t affect the tubers so you should alright to dig them up and store them over the winter 🧡
Thank you for sharing!! What did you push into the seed tray before planting the seeds? I assume it makes a hole but I never seen this before.
