    In order to enjoy your snowmobile videos, I now wear a helmet when I'm watching (lol). It is difficult to stop heat from travelling up through the ceiling. It is important to ventilate the attic to prevent snow from melting on the roof and end up freezing on the eaves causing icicles. Without vapor barrier in your ceilings, expect a movement of moist air to enter the attic and condense on the inside of the roof.

    Hey Don! What a great way to spend time with family. A good old fashioned wiener roast. Best hotdogs ever made is cooking them on an open fire. Boys your son n law ski doo looks in great shape. A mate to your machine? A suggestion for a video. Now that your snow is quite deep. Take out the bravo and boot r through the snow.

      @@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 I have a fair understanding of working in the cold temperatures of Labrador. Where I am now, we rarely gets below -20 C . Humidity plays a big part in body comfort. Your -40 is quite dry.

    • @littlegriffoffgridalberta6837
      @littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 20 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Ya you understand ! Your -20 is like our -40 very dry here & when it's -40 it's usually clear shies & calm , the odd time we get -35 then a bad wind so feels like -50 but no need to be out in that when you have lots of wood, just cabin chores :))

    Hi Don, enjoy your content. I live off grid in Ont for 4 years. Have a yellow female lab and hm122. Built a full scribe cabin while I was working. Retired now from hydro and injoying the off grid life. I log in winter and saw in spring. Building a timber frame cabin. I seem to always keep busy but its the life I love. My log house is on the water and enjoy fishing and hunting. Had a good feed of lake trout for dinner yesterday. Also have a big garden and root house. Built my own solar system 4kw. Remoted my honda generator through wi fi and can monitor my place remotely. Always improving.

    hey Don enjoy your videos.Question I clicked the like button at 132 and watched it flip at least 40 times and still reads 133 at the end is this you tubes way of throttling a channel?I've watched this before on other channels.

    • @littlegriffoffgridalberta6837
      @littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ya not sure why but I've done the same, but if you click off then back on it always refreshes it's self , Every time someone clicks on it to watch it will do that a lot of TV watchers that can't Sub or like but I think it bounces every time there is a view no matter how long they watch, But yes TH-cam Pushes it out to people that watch firewood or off grid or solar depends on what I # for instance , But you can watch & give it 5 thumbs up if you want it all counts to help the cannel grow :)) Thanks for the comment" Question,

      She is bread for outside , She is trained as a watch dog , I have 12 inch insulated walls & roof styro floor & lots of dry straw with a door flap it all built under my insulated deck floor :) Different breads adapt to the weather just like cows horses sheep goats coyote & wolves that live out in -60 temps, When fall comes they grow a new undercoat to protect them, Many breads that are kept inside very hard on them because their body keeps trying to grow the coat but keeps falling out because they are to warm, Thanks for the comment"

    Don, I believe the saying goes; Hindsight is 20/20. It is easy for others to critique others once it is done or from afar. Keep up the great work. I know with myself and the reviews that if it seems more as a seamless part of the video I tend to watch, if it is a infomercial I click out. Take care Don, most cannot accomplish what you have done and many more simply quit. God Bless. Because of you I did google and researched Tamarack.

      Ya. So propane stops making pressure at -44C. The places up north that have the big horizontal propane tanks, they lite fires under them to heat the tank so it will vaporize the propane. Hoping there is no leaks. 🤭🤭🤭🤭
