Thanks! It's cold, but we're up and ready for some cabin work inside! Your probably feeling what we had the last couple days now, -40 this morning, only -31 right now so might not get as cold as last night , then -4 to -8 for highs all week :) Take care stay warm"

Yes it was :) I always say plan it right the first time because always harder to make changes after ! The chainsaw box is something you need. It turned out great, Don. Keeping your gas and oil with the saws and having it all secured is important.
Yes it was a long time coming lol ! So much nicer not having to try & tie them on after I'm loaded :)) Some great ideas just take 30 years to plan lol ! Thanks for watching

Sold our snow blower when we left the east coast. Most be real nice having a dry/covered space, which you can heat, when doing projects. Especially when it is cold or wet and snowing. We have plans but so many things to do and adding. No excuses, Tom, get to work. Take care Don, why they two saws together? The oil viscosity is the perfect time to introduce oil viscosity and what the numbers mean, a thought. 👍👍👍
When off grid in a cold climate The shop is a must build it just makes life so much easier when having to work on things out of the weather summer or winter :) always a warm car I have a fire in the shop everyday ! Winter here even the light bar oil is stiff & always makes a mess I'll probably put a rag in the box under the saws, Video next week you will see why the two saws :)) Take care stay warm we dipped to -40 last night but suppose to be much warmer in a couple days "
@@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 the trend is a cold plunge, maybe you can do a spin on the idea. Show everyone how you stay young and active because of the cold air. LOL
@@TomTammyOffGridHomestead Ya we have a saw cleaning & sharpening coming up & showing what happen to the bar oil in my parts at -25c, I should of showed a closer look when I fill up :) Next time !

Your weather is always real close to the same as I get in northern Minnesota. The jet stream that comes down out of Canada. I like your saw box. great idea! we have got to take care of those saws they are a lifeline.
Ya when it wants to get cold like the -40 we got last night but it's only a couple days then warmer, In the 70's & 80's we would get -40 to 45c for 3 weeks straight then -20c for a week & back to the 40's again for three weeks , I enjoy the bush -15c is just right for cutting wood :) Thanks for coming along if you get cold weather watch some of my summer videos you will probably enjoy! Hi Don! You’re as handy as a pocket in a shirt. That’s a nice handy box to keep your saws protected. Be great to have when you go on a store run as well. Must be nice to have snow. We’re getting close to 20 mm of rain today. Yards are back to bare grass once again.

Doesn't your gen have eco mode? Sure a lot quieter if it does.
Ya it runs a little quieter but it jumped up it was charging my battery at 1600w , I only have to listen to it every 3 days for about 4hrs if we don't get sun :) It kind of echo's under the roof when it's working hard, Thanks for the comment"
