good morning Don sometimes those trees just don’t go the way you want them do they? They have a mind of their own. tipping those sleds over in the bush by yourself can be an awful pain sometime there’s something to be said about peace and quiet and a beautiful sunset. Stay safe, my friend.

@@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 Oh man, and the Wolves in Alberta are BIGGGGG too... bigger than what we got in Ontario which is a lot to say because being so big already, I couldn't imagine what an Albertan Wolf looks like up close!
@@PatterningNature Yes we have some big ones, To many they are hard on the moose , The snow is very deep this year so I think the moose have a better chance to fight back :)

Ya we ok just took a couple days to recoup lol, You must of missed the videos last year at this time I was pulling two in a few videos :)) If you go back I built two at the same time one for me & one for my kids, So I pulled a few loads with my super B

Yes you can't be going to slow when pulling heavy or it will get stuck on the road, so gotta go fast enough to keep it rolling lol, But gotta be careful, no steering on the pavement , have to get it right coming on :) Thanks for watching

Hey Don, just out of curiosity when you cut down the tree's why do you and a lot of others leave the stump up about 3 feet up? I my self do it also for safety when felling the tree but after I cut the stump down . Just wondering . Good video as always and glad to see you are ok.
I have cut would out here for years & if you watch in my travels through the bush you will see very few stumps left, I cut most short so they are not there to hit next year making trails, The odd you I leave to actually mark my trail for next year so I know where I've been :) Your right cut it high for safety then cut the stump after, Thanks for the comment"

YUP !! Pretty much & the camera was on so the good & bad all get shown, It can happen, I don't like my new sleigh it's only 24"s wide my old one was 28" I rolled it once in 16years, So looks like another build coming ! Have a good afternoon
Gawd Id love to have that spot to cut logs and firewood........what a contrast to what I am dealing with..............Don you are leaving a junk of wood on the stump......Just the right amount of snow on that bog Don.......great conditions buddy.............the box is a little narrow and could be top heavy...................makes for a great time in the woods..........

As for parts, try www.denniskirk.com If you order tell them you would like a catalog they will send with order, They sell parts all makes & models, They are a big wholesale warehouse in Minnesota, US , Depends on what it needs most cities have a dealer but they want double the money for everything, This is a 95 I'm riding I changed out undercarriage two years ago & did a complete motor job last winter so goo for a few miles :) I have owned 5, 89-98 two I bought new for trapping back in the day, video coming late next week my kids are riding the 98, Good luck with the project! Hey Don! I think you might have to slow down a bit when crossing the road. Second time in a couple weeks we see you have to load the same wood twice. If you weren’t happy with the way you loaded it the first time you should rearrange it in the woods and not on the road. lol. Hopefully you are ok. The old guys I grew up around would used tamarack or juniper as we call it here on their wooden body trailer or poplar. Lasts a really long time.
I appreciate the advice, it's a good reminder to double-check my load before I'm on the road. Safety is always a priority But shit happens lol, Didn't wreck us I was lucky this time ! Ya she burns hot & lasts good if you don't split it :) Thanks for watching"
