ngl i wish Translink got 4-car Mark II walkthrough trains, like they have in Malaysia which also has the 4-car Mark III. Cool nonetheless upgrade from the single cars Mark I. I wonder if they’ll add a 5th centre car for Mark III’s to get them gave capacity like Mark V.

I feel old. Reminiscing the times when these trains were new in their 2-car form. I would always chase after these Mark II’s on the Millennium Line. I miss their new train smell.

I did enjoy the video, but next time it might be worth thinking about sun position when filming. If you had waited until the afternoon or even just a little later into the morning, the sun would be causing much less glare.

Great news for Detroit and bad news for Toronto as the TTC shuts down line 3 Detroit will get the refurbished Mark 1’s till they get enough funding in the next 2 years for NEW SKYTRAINS IN DETROIT! The line is now free for commuters and has seen its ridership numbers double. Detroit Transit has also re aligned bus routes to terminate at People Mover stations which is also adding a LOT of ridership. With the Q line expanding and connecting directly with the People Mover the Detroit Transit agency is also looking alongside the city and state to finally double the track and extend the network! These plans are moving albeit slowly but are moving along now!

Though the Expo line has the oldest stations, it remains my favourite. And as for stations, New Westminster is tops. I know it is dated and needs much upgrading, but I love how the shopping concourse on both sides of the track is level with the station platforms, making it the ideal spot for trans spotting and people-watching. I hope they'll incorporate this into more stations as TOD takes place.
