Translink’s D60LFRs were built in 2007 and are an articulated variant of New Flyer's "LFR" line, including Translink's existing D40LFRs and C40LFRs. Translink’s D60LFRs can be confused for the DE60LFR, the hybrid variant of the type.
The D60LFRs are often seen on the 143 and 145 sprinting up and down Burnaby Mountain to SFU from Burquitlam and Production Way University Stations, respectively
The D60LFRs consist of 15 vehicles (8102-8117) and are based in Port Moody and have the "P" prefix. The DE60LFRs consist of 39 vehicles (8118-8156) and were based out of Burnaby with the "B" prefix. Currently, as of March 2024, 13 out of the 15 units are in service with 8103 in storage, and 8117 was retired in January, making it the first unit to be withdrawn.
