Hi Andrew… we just find it fascinating to see snow & hail on the beach. In hindsight we should have headed towards the mountains or around the castle grounds but as always we’re drawn to the beach. Fantastic to be out, we really enjoyed it…. Not the best photography but a reminder of our first snow of the season. Hi Peter, aww it’s was so lovely driving to Harris & back on the first day just a shame the visibility was so poor. The second day heading back out was brutal, those huge hailstones & cold faces didn’t mix. We tried to make the most of the conditions but sometimes it’s right to know when to call it. Hi Andrew, the morning was just a joy to photograph. The long lens definitely helped to pick out some of the smaller scenes. It was magical to watch the force, light and apart from the waves. Windy & cold but worth every second. Two great locations, oooh wow… that must have been a very windy day for that to happen to the van. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a great opportunity to focus on the smaller details, so pleased you like them. I feel that I have been able to focus more on the photography by not being distracted speaking to camera but….
