For this bridge pickup demo I used my Solar Guitars S1.6PB with an Evertune bridge.
All 4 Bare Knuckle Pickups are great for high gain purposes, but they show exceptional versatility across a variety of genres. Their impressive split coil sounds and clean performance, make them stand out even on edge of breakup.
Whether you're in pursuit of a Metal Bridge Humbucker or looking for more traditional tones, these 4 pickups excel. Besides Metal, I played rock, hard rock, edge of breakup, clean tones, and Solo/Lead.
Making this video has sparked my curiosity to try other Bare Knuckle pickups. I'm contemplating trying out the Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell, Miracle Man, Painkiller or Bare Knuckle Triptych Rabea Massaad set in the future.
These tracks were pre-recorded and on the video you see the BKP Warpig with Black-Battleworn cover.

Nice comparison ! Is bare knuckle pickup is fitted well into solar guitar ? Im considering about swap to bare knuckle juggernaut
Hi mate, it fits well as long as it’s uncovered. Otherwise you might have to force the pickup into the cavity and it can be very snug
Amazing playing! Wow, I decided to go for the se ce24 , i think it will suit playing metal styles better? I read it’s faster and i can also notice by listening that it’s faster Great review!!
Hey. I just bought a neck Juggernaut (covered) for my Solar (w/ Evertune). Did you have any issues fitting the bulky ass mic into your Solar? I feel like the mic can't be set low enough and the strings will collide with it.
Hi, yes, if it’s covered you will most likely have issues trying to fit it in there. I do at least, every time it’s a covered pup I need to force it a bit
I think the main reason that epi wins out in sales is because ESP is always on! The epi does not attack as strongly but can be made to with pedals. LTD is always on attack. Great tone on both, though.
Fair point mate. Appreciate you checking the video out 🍻
It comes down to which one feels better in your hands. Similar tone with the LTD/emg's having a sharper attack. Can probably give the epi a similar attack with a pedal.
I hate to say this... but I played an se CE 24 recently and I was surprised at how cheap and crappy it looked next to the USA CE 24. It felt cheap too. It sounded good though from my recollection. It seems to me that the se models are going downhill from where they were beach around 2017. In 2017 the veneers looked way nicer... now they look like a fake veneer. I think the top carves are getting shallower too. I still have an American core 24 and an American CE 24 and when you see and feel the se version it looks and feels like a toy. Doesn't mean they sound bad though. Even though I have core PRS guitars I'm not a guitar snob though. I still have a PRS SE Chris Robertson and think it is one of the best PRS guitars made. Nothing about it looks, feels, or sounds cheap...it is amazing. Maybe because it was made in Korea vs Indonesia... I'm not sure. But you can just see the quality difference compared to the new ones. I also played an SE tremonti single cut last week that was made around 2017 also and it felt and sounded epic. I was really tempted to buy it but it is too similar to what I already have. If I were buying a cheaper PRS guitar I'd buy a used American CE or one of the other se models I mentioned...or a 2017 SE 245. After owning two American CE 24's and two core custom 24's I actually like the American CE 24 tone just as much as the core... not sure which sounds better... they just sound slightly different.
Really digging the Schecter!
Nice one mate, it's a sweet guitar!
Die Beiden klingen aber sowas von ähnlich, ist fast egal, welche man nimmt 👌
Thanks
Very subtle differences but leaning towards the aftermaths
Nice pickup comparison, now my next wish is to see a guitar comparison. Like where you talk about the guitars, the differences, what you like about one vs the other.
Thank you mate, appreciate it. Yeah, I see what you mean, my most recent videos include talking head sections talking about the guitars as well.
Man, that Epiphone sounds amazing. Just has the meat and authority. The DGT is an awesome guitar and comes close, but definitely sounds thinner and more brittle
Nice one mate, for sure, these Epiphone are amazing.
Good price for a great guitar. Thanks for giving us good information. I'm ready to pick up my second PRS guitar.
My pleasure mate. Great shout on getting one of these guitars, they’re fantastic instruments 🍻
Hi, awesome comparison and great playing! Just wanted to ask, how do you feel the output of the Polymaths compares to the other pickups in this comparison? Do they need you to dig in a bit more with the picking hand or raise the gain or pickup height to get similar levels of saturation?
Hi mate, I feel it’s probably the one with the least output, but I do like it for that, it sounds awesome when you dig in.
@@gabriel_guitar Thanks for the info!

Hehe! Feliz ano novo my friend
War Pig is the uncontested king of sludge / stoner / doomer.
For sure mate
The only diffrent is the salery of the workers in the two contreys. Some material is diffrent, but not that big diffrens
Great Demo, Great playing style 😎
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Best comparison I've seen yet! When using humbuckers, the difference between the 2 guitars is very small and you can always turn down the tone knob on the SE to match it even closer to the CE. With coil taps however, the difference is night and day. SE actually sounds like a Strat, while CE doesn't even get close. I also prefer the look and comfort of SE. SE wins hands down for me.
Amazing playing and demo. Wanna sell the guitar? :D
Thank you mate, really appreciate! Ha, unfortunately already sold it 😂
@@gabriel_guitar Ah well. Obrigado por responderes :)

Hi mate, thank you so much, really appreciate it. I wrote the music just for the video, forgot to name it. Working on more guitar comparison videos at the moment, stay tuned :)
I've tried the Holy Diver before and it has this liquid type feeling making it easy to play lead. Would you say the EVH have the same feeling?
Ibanez AZ sounds the best, killer humbucker sound and nice fendery neck single coil sound.. Winner..
Yeah mate, sounds awesome
How is the feel and playability of the Core vs the SE? I just saw a CE for exactky 2k and I might pull the trigger.
The neck on the American feels a bit more substantial, a bit rounder at the back of the neck. I prefer it tbh.
If those 245s came with an ebony fingerboard... My god. I had the SE Fredrik Akesson and exchanged it for another guitar... biggest mistake ever. It was basically a 245 with a beautiful dark brown top that looked black with no direct light. Ebony fingerboard, thicker body and the eagles had this translucent / greenish look.
Oh mate, those guitars looked amazing. Wish they were still in production!
Well, to be honest, the Gibson has more sustain and is way more dynamic, the Epiphone looks like it has a compressor / eq in front, it lacks frequencies imo xD
$2500 vs $700 guys that usa is robbering me 😂 i'm cheap i don't care what youd say i go with SE 😂 (my only guitar is prs se silversky)
Just got one of the DGT SE guitars, and it is every bit as playable as any Gibson I have ever owned.
I can’t hear a single difference. Like many say, once you get a high gain amp tone, there really becomes no difference other than how much gain you use on the amp.
Amazing.
Thanks mate 🍻
I have that guitar's twin. Love it. Got it 2nd hand but mint condition & I got a hell of a deal. Best guitar I've ever owned. I play a lot of detuned metal stuff but those Fishman pickups will do everything from an angels voice clean to the Devil's armpit nasty metal tones, plus coil splitting opens up the classic songle coil sound but out of an Eclipse. It's like a Swiss army knife for tone. Put those pickups inside a beautiful LTD EC-1000T. Go ahead & apologize to your neighborhood for the noise
Absolutely mate, such amazing instruments, there’s not much they can’t handle 🤘🏻
Not a whole lot of difference. Makes me glad I just ordered the se ce24.
What set would you recommend for a PRS CE24? Looking for versatility and a bit of Plini sort of tone. Tight but clean up well.
Hi mate, I’d recommend the Polymath, it’s amazing for leads and it’s really focused in the mids, ideal for that style of playing.
Thanks for the video! I was wondering if I would have to change the bridge pickup to do rock. Seems it is ok
I think they’re great for rock mate, the pickups are fantastic, I wouldn’t change them
Suonano tutte quasi uguali perchè escono in digitale, con un ampli Vox, Fender, Marshall etc. la differenza si sentirebbe molto di più.
Nice, Thanks
Just ordered the same ce24 today. Sounds great and can't wait to play it. Thanks for the review.
My pleasure mate 🍻
That prophecy sounds crisp
Yeah man, it’s a great sounding guitar 🤘🏻
Very nice comparation and playing!! The Nailbomb is Ceramic or Alnico? Thanks
Thank you mate, appreciate it! It’s Alnico 🍻
@gabriel_guitar oh thanks for the answer!
The Supermassive in for the win to my ears.
Yeah mate, such a great pickup 🍻
Do these pickups have splitting options? On neck? I want that strat single coil tone
Hi mate, they do, the split tones are great on this pickup set
My favorite BKP comparison quality so far. At the start I enjoyed the Polymath, but by the end I thought the Juggernaut's have deeper palm mutes in between runs on leads, and the lead sings more imo.
Thank you mate, appreciate it! Yeah, the Juggs are awesome 🍻
Thank you very much , I cannot separate the different anyway😅
👌🏻
Hahaha Almost no difference
I hear a slight difference, and I think Holy Diver sound a little bit more pronounced. I like how dark the Mule is across style. Can't decide.
I bought the Friedman Friday 12- 13-24 returned it 12-16-24. It sounds great into a computer. I however put it through a carvin Ts 100 a mesa dual rec(into fx loop) and a solid state class a/b power amp. it sounds like TRASH through a cab. no matter what I did.
Interesting, never tried it through a cab to have an opinion, must try it at some point
@ lmk what you findings were. Mine was also beyond noisy. in several different environments. Maybe it was defective.
@@pontiacpower421 will do mate! Yeah, might have been defective, mine isn't noisy for a high gain tube driven preamp, but then again, I didn't blast it at high volume through a cab.
What I find interesting, I bought a Monoprice Indio 66 Classic V2 for $ 75 over Thanksgiving weekend as a preowned that sounds every bit as good as either of these guitars. After tweaking the set up on a $ 129.99 guitar it was as playable as any guitar I've ever handled. There were a couple of cosmetic flaws the Monoprice had that once corrected, were hidden by plastic covers for plug & drill that nobody can see as cosmetic flaw corrections. What a deal that guitar turned out to be. Minor tweaks (truss rod adjustment and saddle post height lowered) to the set up as well and the string action is just about as low as any custom shop could ever get without fret buzzing. The Chinese obscure brands have easily caught up with the best name brands of the industry. China is just crushing it for quality even. Is there a reason to buy a guitar beyond $ 100-500 ?
Bolt on necks unfinished feel great to play, and I love the clarity and presence of the CE24, guess I know what I'm buying in the new year \m/
