As a returning player that was convinced to come back thanks to the collab, there are quite a few things you need to look out for which literally no one talks about but you'll see if you come from DMC: It's a gacha game, so the end goal is making the strongest team in terms of damage output, which is why the whole endgame/hard contents all revolve around dps check, they don't care if I have enough skills to not get hit if my damage is not good enough to finish the stage b4 the timer or out damage the literally healing of the bosses despite constantly attacking, optimize rotations and switch in are the true endgame, not the combos. The vfx are blinding, it is much more than any DMC game, and the newer gen characters have even morr vfx, which requires you to get used to, and that will take quite a while, I might be against a lot of people but I don't like that much vfx in my face that literally covers 50% of the screen, which I can barely filter all of those out to see when and where to dodge, the dodges also have limited use until you're force to wait for cooldowns or switch in another character, another artificial difficulty. The bosses are not as good as DMC, which is a high bar, I know, but they're also, not that great, imo, more recent bosses always have a phase when they're just decided to jump up, teleport, or get in some place high to forces you to dodge for the upcoming 15-30s, in which you can't retaliate since they're way out of reach, really kills the pace of the game, further more the vfx and sound cues of the attacks might be distinct, but they're flooded with the vfx and the sfx of your own characters that by the end it is actually quite hard to notice unless you really paid attention to it. The orbs system, to explain briefly is they lock the moves behind 3 colors orbs that floats above your attack button, which plays like a bejeweled game, connect 3 orbs with the same power to increase damage of that move or some other conditions to activate the character specific core passives. The orbs are randomized too, so add more orbs management on top of everything else and it is quite a daunting task. So in short, PGR is still a gacha game+action game+mobile game, not a pure action game, there is a reason he (the guy who made this video) recommend you jump in rn despite not knowing exactly how long it would take until the collab, because you need to build up your teams, your resources, and your skills, which you'll need since this is not a pure skill based game.

As a certified DMC fan who has played all the games (including the shitty reboot) and has played PGR since launch, I can confirm that the collab of these 2 games will be the Pinnacle of collaborations in history

just think about it DMC is peak PGR is peak in DB, when characters do the fusion thing, their powers are multiplied by each other (or somethin like that, i don't remember) which means, this collab is going to be peak^2

Let's just hope that on future updates they slide in the OG vibe that they presented us with the OG Trailer/teaser of Yangyang running away from god knows wich horrors... who were literally making the soil evaporate. The sheer violence & chills down the spine you get when the OST & the landscape appear is just insane and shouldve been Wuwa But I'm not losing hope, they haven't done this trailer/teaser for nothing, we might get our dark-apocalyptic patch someday

I saw like two videos from you on this topic and those are the only times i feel you’ve came up for me and the way you came across was just really edgy and annoying and it felt like if the game wasnt the way you wanted it that it was a bad game but honestly all of us want for a game to be how we envision it and at the end of the day it really is just an opinion and whether you want to continue wuwa or not is of no importance to me i think its just your demeanor? PGR is a king in story and setting. It really doesn't get much better when it comes to gacha games.

Wuwa' community is probably worse, if you think about how the genshin community is like at least 10 times bigger. But if you make even a valid criticism about anything in the game you'll get instantly attacked by hundreds of people. You'll not get attacked that fast in genshin even with it being way bigger This idea of "wuwa is better" or the devs are listening to feedback and actually improving the game is cool and all, but that made the community way too defensive and obsessive. If wuwa was bigger than genshin, there would be no need for people to try to defend it so hard. The irony here is actually kinda interesting, psychologically speaking. Try saying something that isn't a complete brainless praise about the game on reddit and you'll see what happens lol But reddit is the biggest echochamber creator in the world so... This insane way people are defending companies nowadays, and not only in games, is something to be studied for some centuries to come. The same way we're still studying the hows and whys about what happened in the last century
