It's actually impressive people assume criticism = dislike the game. When in actuality, we should be criticial of the game we invest time abd money in. Alpha is the first character I've ever maxed out in an gacha
I genuinely hope she isn't the alpha, not because of "bad timing", but because i want her to not be alpha, let her be a different badass white haired woman in a different way, alpha-type will come, but zani has too much potential to be uniquely badass to waste it on being alpha clone
imo it's still way to early to tell, we got no gameplay or even a trailer with her in it, and we have no idea if the patch she releases in is a big one. I do agree that alpha has a more sporty/edgy look and zani's more put together. i hope zani lives up to even a fraction of alpha's badass personality
kuro always cooks, not to glaze, but they have a literal track record of their combat improving each patch. Its actually more scary that animation powercreep is so common in kuro's games....
Depending on the story, you won't be around until Zani is out anyways Regashu. If I remember correctly, you will dip if the story of 2.0 isn't to your liking. Let's not put the cart in front of the horse, you probably won't get to Zani patch. Though hopefully the story is to your liking.
I'm honestly not expecting Kuro to give Zani, Alpha's gameplay just like they did wit Xiangli Yao and Zani doesn't look that much like Alpha as much as goddess from the very start looks like Lucia Lotus tbh
Honestly I am not sure what could Zani even be. Like, she looks demonic so fusion seems the go to, Electric is not too far fetched either. Since she is not yet our TRUE Alpha variant I doubt she will use a sword. So here's my prediction / hope: Fusion Gauntlet user. I want her to take that tie off, wrap it around her arm like Nanami, and beat the absolute living shit out of me- my enemies. And I NEEEEED her to do a drop kick as her ultimate with POV on the bottom to see how she drops on me- my enemies. As for her role. I will literally take anything. I doubt she's a support but hey, lets imagine an offenssive healer. Throwing slurs and then hitting you to heal her team. But I would love her to be a hypercarry, since thats the way I like to play the most with character hogging all the field time. Just like our Alpha in PGR. I do not give a damn rotating her with Vera and 21 is more optimal. I skipped 21 just so I could not even be tempted to do that. Also I really hope Zani will be involved in some political or behind the scene intrigue. Give us some SPICE in this carnival world. If we are taking a break from apocalypse then give me a solid thriller to keep me at the edge of seat as I am edging to that beautiful succubbus. Ok I will chill out now.
Sanhua is Alpha, the beginning statements made about her at the start of the game scream Alpha, not to mention Jinshi (Who is supposed to be Luna, just how Yinlin is supposed to be Vera) talks to Sanhua like How Luna talks to Alpha and vice versa Edit: not to mention there is a pretty close resemblance of sanhua to Alpha's newest skin (I forget what it's called) and I mean this mostly in facial details, not the clothing

They gotta step up their game man, especially Dong bro, he's literally the one that created Crimson Abyss, anyway, while I'm waiting for my Motivated Queen, Alpha in WuWa, I'll be pulling for Carlotta just because she's hot and she's similar to Lee and Wanshi in gameplay. And i really hope that if Alpha gets a variant in WuWa that she has that dimension slashing, portal opening fast paced gameplay like Crimson Abyss and a mix of that Thunder from Crimson Weave, finna be peak i say, she better show up when we get to know a lot more about that Lucia variant, because obviously like Regashu said here... Alpha is literally Lucia the OG which is why she's called Alpha in the first place, because she is the first and the real Lucia. Both Lucia and Alpha variants better be using Katana's because it's not Lucia and Alpha if they ain't using swords man, that's what they're known for, being badass Katana wielding Swordswomen, even Pyroath uses a Katana like her sword is literally called Lustrous or Luxurious Katana sumn like that. Anyway yeah, All the Alpha/Lucia simps (myself included) are waiting for that one moment, our Queens gets a variant released as a playable character in Wuthering Waves.
Zani looks cool, but i dont feel an obsession for her like i have for another character from another game that shall not be named for the relative peace in the replies section. Ahhhh screw it: Burnice. Its Burnice. Y'know, from that one game called Zenless Zone Zero. I very regrettably failed my 50/50 to she who shall not be named for the sake of my sanity and promptly deleted the game.

I feel like Zani is going to be a 4-star, she just gives off those vibes.
