I think the region we’ll be getting after Rinascita will most likely be the New Federation, Mortefi and Calcharo’s birthplace. I also think it’s likely that that’s when we’ll be getting character skins, since in Calcharo’s Experience texts it mentions that the clothes he wears now were given to him by Jiyan so he fits in in Huanglong, but before, he had a different, more utilitarian set of clothing. If in the New Federation, the idea of having their uniforms mildly decorated is completely alien, some crap’s probably going down there, perhaps we’ll get a more dark, serious and apocalyptic situation in that region, similar to what you were hoping for earlier in the story. All those TDs/Echoes or whatever they are turning on the Residents of Rinascita would be lit as hell, something just seems a bit off about the concept, but we’ll see.
You stubbornly want WuWa to just like be PGR. Let's be real here. If WuWa sticks to its CBT setting, it would be forced to change because it will drive a lot of people away. Instead of players making fun of the whole "Rover glazing" aspect, they would be making fun of how edgy and unlikable the characters are.

Watch Sidneymar's videos (highly recommended), he talked about various things about Rinascita and how could the main antagonist is working alongside them and where could Rinascita be positioned in map, maybe it'll pique your interest in lore (since I too have a shallow understanding of it until I watched his videos regarding the lore of wuwa)
I think I understand the misunderstanding. Rinascita isn't a place where tacet discords live in harmony with people, there's no such place. Rinascita is a place where echoes are common place and integrated in society. Echoes aren't tacet discords. Echoes are copies, tacet discords are the man eaters.
i see 2 options, 1 - Either they'll focus on writing a good story with good musics, animations and please a good pacing that isn't rushed but will require a longer wait as the drawback, and build rinascita's characters better, give them more screentime, correct lore exposition, and for the love of god, add an actual antagonist to Rover because damn bro the "Im too strong for anything to be dangerous to me" only works in comical stories such as OPM, when it try to be so serious in wuwa's case it just ends up being corny and lack any suspense. Or 2 - They'll continue with the route of glazing and revering Rover beyond what's serious and fall head over heels to try and sell the character more and rush every story to hit the 40 days patch deadline. For the love of god Kuro you did NOT call wuwa a "story-rich" "post-apocalyptic" game for nothing. I don't care how much time it'll take to write something good i can wait few patches, i, like many only play the game for the gameplay because those stories they pull are way too half-backed and is just not it at the time. Take more time to make something we'd actually give shit about and that'll entice us ffs
It would be absolutely wild (in a good way) if Phrolova managed to execute its plan and transform Renacita a beautiful, prosperous, and joyful place into a dark, desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland. Where the TDs that once coexisted peacefully with civilians would now be their enemies. If her plan involves something like that, I genuinely hope she manages to achieve at least part of it in a way that leaves a noticeable impact on Renacita. Otherwise, it risks becoming just another classic story where the villain nearly succeeds but is stopped by the heroes. I do agree with you that Kuro wants to make wuwa a game that is loved by everyone. Renacita seeks to be loved by players who want a lovely, colorful and beautiful open world to explore. He could also be seeking for not only that but also the players who want a post-apocalipitic region by introducing Phrolova and make her accomplish her plan because Kuro is aware of that playerbase and wants to please them as well. Kuro might seek for a different player's taste on the next region...

I want more of the story that was in Mt Firmament man. Kuros story telling there was peak. I genuinely put my controller down and was kind of sad that I just finished the story but so happy that I finished it. Mt Firmament has a special place in my heard. Its the only map where I just randomly decide to just walk and enjoy the view, the music etc. If kuro can take Jinshis story in Mt Firmament as a ground and improve on it. (though I cant see how they could) Then I will officially have zero complaints with kuros story.
I totally agree with you BUT on top I wanted the original story from CBT as well. Let me just say this: Kuro wanted wuwa to be loved by THE MOST amount of players and THAT is the main problem. They didn't follow their vision with the style, with the story, with the atmosphere. Hell, even the fact that they stopped working with Vanguard music for wuwa tells you everything. PGR is kuro's passion project and wuwa is "wanna be loved by everyone" project (and ofc for money). I just hope that as they loot the cash, they will cook up something very true to their original visions, something they are best at (dark and crazy) for their next game. I let go of wuwa as THE game from kuro. PGR is still on that spot but man I get so angry when I rewatch CBT playthroughs and see what we could have gotten...
Keep up the vids, that especially includes any criticism or complaints you may have about WuWa. I would say you’re very fair and try to be understanding even with people seeing red when they hear something even slightly negative about their favorite gacha. I’m definitely gonna play it when it comes to PS5, I’m also disappointed that’s it’s much brighter than it once was but I also don’t hate it. The gameplay still looks fun and Kuro is listening which is great. I just hope to one day get a character like Alpha or Noctis in WuWa one day myself. Plus I personally believe at least small parts of a map could be dark and grim while a majority stays vibrant. This could lead to more variation in a map, that or a dark side quest could be a good way of implementing darker tones without taking away from the brighter atmosphere. Kuro just has to be smart about it.

We're thinking the same possibilities - mine was those noble Rinascita families, to avoid exposing their deepest secrets, whatever they may be, unleash not anymore tamed TDs on local population, ending one of a kind era of coexistence on Solaris-3. There must be a solid reason and some logical reaction of playable Resonators from these families but it's just my first blind shoot.
Totally understandable. It is always that one concept that might ruin everything. Even if the food tastes good, if it is not what I want, then in the end I would not eat it. However, Kuro Games has proven themselves as someone who listens to feedback. That alone makes me secure and feel heard so I will give them leeway. I am glad that people are still criticizing them for good reasons. If there is nothing to criticize, then there are no improvements that can be made in the game.

The talk about a game's idenity is a tough debate people during cbt said wuwa needed to have its own color identity to seperate itself from genshin then those same people likely turned around and started to criticize the grayscale feel wuwa had and with a lot of cbt testers echoing thr same opinion kuro likely thought that their vision of a post apocalypse wouldnt reach a lot or people and brightened up the saturation Alot of sides defend this others dont others think wuwa would have been fine with its original direction and i kinda think so too having the world look exhausted in the main open areas that went through laments or the reverse rain prior doesnt affect how the characters act the characters can be just as lovable and determined as they are with a broken world in fact thzt could have made a lot of characters like jinshi jiyan yangyang etc feel more likable because it would in my opinion make them look like despite being in this torn down world they're doing their best to remain optimistic with their head held high towards the future
Hi, I am in the Russian Wuthering Waves community, we have a big fandom and constantly communicate with each other about the state of the game in our chat. For some reason, for people in the gacha community, any negative opinion is hate, maybe this is some kind of defense and fear of comparisons with Genshin, but it's really a pity that we have the same problem in the fandom. Many people who have been playing Punishing Gray Raven since the release and have been constantly supporting Wuthering Waves since 1.0 receive a lot of hate and misunderstanding from players who so fiercely defend Kuro. I'm on your side, I really love the game, but I downloaded it thinking about the atmosphere and idea from the first cbt. I also think that Kuro still needs to look at competitors and learn how to do marketing correctly, if they had posted a more interesting teaser that, like hsr, tells the general background of the region and creates a sense of hype, people would have had a better understanding of what to expect from the region. I hope this teaser is not everything and they will not forget about marketing until the last week before the patch

They could have made the story more focused on chaos and corruption and over clocking rather than make it feel like there is no real stakes because we are just “Rover” Camellya and Changli story touched on their overclocking but that was just character quests. If you have seen the leaks your idea might actually be possible. According to leakers the 2.0 text files are almost the same to the plot in CBT 1. Apparently Kuro didn't change the plot from CBT 1 for Rinacita so we will see what Kuro originally wanted us to see. The political conflict thing is also possible due to the story of CBT 1 hinting at it. Also Phrolova is said to come in 2.8 I doubt they will release a villain without them being involved in the 2.x story.
Yeah I think it would be amazing to see massacre at the end of the story. Like for example Phrolova comes into rinascita and commands td's to kill people. Tho the co existance of people and TD's is interesting. Also I would like Phrolova to be playeble soo... Also wuwa can make dark story not like genshin and they can alsomake kill people.
Unfortunately most of this games community seems to think the standards brought up in this video only applies to every other game and developer out there besides these ones so I don't think your gonna get anywhere with this. Sorry but clearly you are not allowed to criticize this game under penalty of ending up on blast from it's CC group and getting your channel flooded with people accusing you of being a hater cause this games community kind of has a persecution complex I've noticed. They do listen to feedback but it seems that the vast majority prefer the current feel of the game: less dangerous, more lighthearted, hence why they went against their original artistic vision. Personally, I don't have much hope for them to turn around and surprise us with something darker, or dare i say "mature", and Abby was the first thing to make me lose that hope. I can accept that, if the story telling and the plot was decent, so far it was a mess. I've been playing since day 1 and I still barely understand how the world works, it all feels random in a way.

It's by far the worst gacha game community and CC group I've ever seen even as the game itself seems to be picking up the pace at least a little bit of late. I've never seen a games community have this much difficulty letting anyone have any critical takes over it at the same time as it constantly eulogizes about the developers and goes after other games and fandoms with bait videos hard on pretty much on a daily basis as if there's no fanboy double standard there and all the standards of "fairness" they think should apply to WuWa and Kuro Games literally don't apply at all to anything else in the scene and you can say whatever, however you want about those games whenever, and it's even actively encourage in the WuWa community to trash on them regularly. If you have seen the leaks your idea might actually be possible. According to leakers the 2.0 text files are almost the same to the plot in CBT 1. Apparently Kuro didn't change the plot from CBT 1 for Rinacita so we will see what Kuro originally wanted us to see. The political conflict thing is also possible due to the story of CBT 1 hinting at it. Also Phrolova is said to come in 2.8 I doubt they will release a villain without them being involved in the 2.x story.
Yeah I think it would be amazing to see massacre at the end of the story. Like for example Phrolova comes into rinascita and commands td's to kill people. Tho the co existance of people and TD's is interesting. Also I would like Phrolova to be playeble soo... Also wuwa can make dark story not like genshin and they can alsomake

Unfortunately most of this games community seems to think the standards brought up in this video only applies to every other game and developer out there besides these ones so I don't think your gonna get anywhere with this. Sorry but clearly you are not allowed to criticize this game under penalty of ending up on blast from it's CC group and getting your channel flooded with people accusing you of being a hater cause this games community kind of has a persecution complex I've noticed. Seen it happen many times already to people that are clearly fans of this game, but broke kayfabe just once to talk about the things they don't like or are nervous about.

They do listen to feedback but it seems that the vast majority prefer the current feel of the game: less dangerous, more lighthearted, hence why they went against their original artistic vision. Personally, I don't have much hope for them to turn around and surprise us with something darker, or dare i say "mature", and Abby was the first thing to make me lose that hope.
I can accept that, if the story telling and the plot was decent, so far it was a mess. I've been playing since day 1 and I still barely understand how the world works, it all feels random in a way.

It's by far the worst gacha game community and CC group I've ever seen even as the game itself seems to be picking up the pace at least a little bit of late. I've never seen a games community have this much difficulty letting anyone have any critical takes over it at the same time as it constantly eulogizes about the developers and goes after other games and fandoms with bait videos hard on pretty much on a daily basis as if there's no fanboy double standard there and all the standards of "fairness" they think should apply to WuWa and Kuro Games literally don't apply at all to anything else in the scene and you can say whatever, however you want about those games whenever, and it's even actively encourage in the WuWa community to trash on them regularly. IMO it's already far worse than the Genshin fanbase ever was.
