Sig has turned into garbage in the past few years...
Its just improperly torqued. Very easy fix
Torque the barrel bolts to spec and the probe is solved.
I'll give it a try. Got the Arisaka retention clamp as well
@@thefalguy9848 Sounds good this was a common issue for some of the first one's released, from what I gathered the solution was to remove the handguard and re torque the bolts to spec. I have the 11.5" SBR LT and its been outstanding!
Sig has been garbage for a decade. The spear in 6.8 has a chamber pressure of nearly 90k psi. Those rifles will beat themselves to death in a few thousand rounds
As I was discussing suppressing the sa58 (para Congo) on a FAL Reddit group, some mentioned having to install the metric pattern suppressor ready adjustable gas plug. Thoughts?
100% go with the adjustable gas plug. It will take out much gas and ensure your rifle will run reliably with a suppressor.
just tighten the barrel bolts to 60 inch pounds and the handguard bolts to 45 inch pounds. The prior owner probably didn't torque them to the proper spec.
Different caliber but how does it compare to your OSW Love the channel
The M10X shoots smoother than the OSW. Plus the monolithic upper is a huge plus over the OSW. However, the OSW is a vibe by itself which cannot be neglected!
IWI Zion 15 is superior AR rifle to these... That is why they are used by IDF and 416 is not
The Zion is a true AR-15 with a DI gas system. The 416 has a short-stroke gas system (so completely different). And somehow the 416 is superior enough that many LE units in Europe, and armies such as the Norwegian, German, French, Luxembourg, the USMC and many others trust over any DI AR-15 (including the Zion)...

We’ve had 3+ MCX Spear LTs at the store I work at and all 3 had this exact same issue. Meanwhile all the mid to high end ARs we had like DDs and LWRCs didn’t have anywhere near that kind of flex.
That is crazy. Yes, the DDs I have handled seemed very solid with 0 issues. I wonder if this shift affects accuracy.

It’s normal to be able to flex a free floated ar barrel side to side, it’s shocking to do the same with a handguard and not have it spring back into place. How the hell did sig convince socom to buy these pieces of junk again?

100% recommend. The glass is very clear, it has a robust housing and the optic is easy to use with the FAL. So far I have had no issues - I was hesitant at first when I got it to plat woth but after a while I can say it's a good optic

looks awesome man I went with a CAG cloneish 10.5 with mine and I love it!!! even went as far as buying a STS 416 lower that hurt my wallet

Plate carrier? Ferro Concepts. and belt is a bison belt (also by Ferro).

How much does your FAL carbine weigh? I think it will be a lot lighter than the standard long barrel version
Roughly 3.9kg in this configuration (optic included). And yes, it's lighter than the standard long barrel configuration.

I have a FDE (RAL7008?) slimline stock and it is very much a mil-spec diameter and use it on my MR556A1.
Interesting. The Slimline stocks are definitely comspec by nature. HK germany advertises them as such and the ones I got imported are all com-spec. Don't fit my milspec tubes.

I would love to see a tutorial video on how to convert a 16" barrel SA58 fixed stock rifle into a 16" barrel SA58 folding stock rifle! I have a conversion kit I just don't know what tools to use!
Just swap lower receivers. Converting a fixed stock receiver to a para one is almost impossible and definitely beyond my capabilities. Plus I could not financially justify to convert a fixed stock receiver. Way cheaper to buy a Para one...

@@uriahhudson7117 DSA also sells the trigger housing with the Para stock that can be swapped with the fixed stock. Just make sure you get the right dust cover and bolt carrier

Have you ever tried firing the blue 308 German training ammo? I know that ammo is set up to cycle through the G3, but the FAL has adjustable gas.

I used to always pick the lm6 while I was at sbv then I short the lm5 that's when I felt less recoil and faster shooting,then the lm5 became my preferred choice ever since.
You are not wrong, recoil is less on the LM5. Yet the compactness of the LM6 is a big plus!

Hi, you have an interesting channel, I disagree only about the reliability of the AK, basically the reliability of the Kalashnikov is greatly exaggerated, and everyone repeats like parrots about the reliability of the AK, although it is mediocre in the act, by the way, this is clearly observed in Ukraine.
People forget that Recce units are not supposed to get into combat they are stealthy Intelligence gatherers in their main role. The SAS in Borneo etc was in a similar role, the same thing applied, patrol and gather information and only "shoot and scoot" if enemy encountered.

Hello there’s rumors that the 2024 DSA polymer mags are running really good now. I’m waiting to pick up my dsa fal but kinda nervous about the functionality. I hope they got those mags tuned up by now 🫡

R3 was not issued to SAP. It was issued to the reserve SANDF. SAP used and still use the R1
What mags do you like best? I've just been using PMAG
PMAGs or Bakelite are my favorite. But steel mags give off a cool vibe as well in this rifle
