Thanks! Your video helped me get mine running. Had it since new, back on the 70's. Original cart and belt. I'm amazed it still works.
Funny thing about the ignitors.... most agree(online) the internal resistance should be between 80 to 175 ohms, yours showed a lot more than that at 236 ohms, but still works evidently. I bought an off brand service replacement unit two weeks ago to replace one that burnt out from a GE 30 oven, and that igniter showed 115 ohms, works perfectly. I just bought a second one, just happen to find an original GE unit this time, and that igniter shows 336 ohms, im thinking about returning it w/o trying it first, and my safety valve is rated 2.5 - 3.0 amps. Any thoughts on this?
Just the video i needed! Thanks! And part numbers/links included!
I remember these when I was a kid...in the 1960s and 1970s....they were the attraction of the front room in those days 😮
I have the same faucet but mine is leaking from the top where you pull up for the water to turn in, any idea how to fix that
Thanks to your video! Im going to attempt my li-on conversion on my bosch drill which had the same issues as yours. I did use a 20A bms board which went into protection mode as soon i used the trigger. Also the new lithium battery with a high discharge rate would make sense for high torque applications.
The power indicator LED's won't work if the dial lamp is out, because they get their power through the dial lamp.
Hi, I’ve recently acquired a magnavox Astro sonic stereo console myself. When I utilize the auxiliary inputs however it seems it’s being summed to mono. Have you encountered this and come up with a solution? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for this. Very helpful
My Cuisinart works fine to stay and up, but after 15 years , the plastic lever to unlock it to go up just broke - in the middle of Christmas cookies. Can you direct me to where I could get a new one?
Lol.. you skipped removing the wires, from the old stove . Exactly what we want to see
Thank you so much
Canon had to know about this issue. My 260hs started doing it about 3 years old on a camera that was hardly ever used. Last Canon thing I ever bought.
The paperwork stuck to the back of my stove calls it a Glowbar Norton style burner and states to only use the square style and not the round one. Just so people know. My husband checked the resistance on the old part and it went to 126 which i assume is not high enough. For all i know, this stove could be 40 years old. Anyone know if that part is bad by the resistance number?
If anyone has any difficulty getting the round, almost flat base ring to unscrew off (mine was on super tight!) I found that one of those rubber jar openers did the trick. Thanks for this very clear video, by the way. I literally fixed this (replaced the seat and spring) in under 10 minutes.
I just inherited the jig saw 1581 from an old timer & had no idea how to change out the blade
It's so nice to have these videos to guide us through difficulties with units like this. I have this model on the way for a coworker who has no stereo and wants one for Xmas. Doesn't give me a whole lot of time. I appreciate your invaluable help! I have no idea what I'll find when I begin testing his unit. Thank you so much!!
Man well done 🎉, put a smile on my face watching you get this going! I was looking to find out how water resistant can they resist while cutting in heavy rain
I have exactly this model and replaced the igniter but still no joy. When I set the oven for 350, it seems to respond but Then shows 100 and then shuts down. What else could be the problem?
I had the same problem with my oven. I removed the circuit board and replaced all the electrolytic capacitors and it started to work again. Sorry, I didn't make a video. This oven and I have a long history!
Do you have a motor installation video for a pottery wheel? Lockerbie,?
Hello frankly I am new to genius turntables in general and even more so with this brand but which fascinates me and frankly I have already learned a lot of things well done it is very informative very nice video I would have liked to know how do you polish the lid? Merci
I really love this recipe!!!!! 😋😋
Glad you like it! I think the fresh ginger really makes a difference
Seriously? You clean the surface while playing a record with a new needle? And let the needle scratch across the record? Come on! You know this is ridiculous!🙄
The best Milton calibration I found. Thanks for explaining how it works.
Glad to help!
Great job sir. I hope to be in good of shape as you are later in life. My back kept hurting watching u leaning over lol. I don’t know how you did it
I am helping my daughter put a head gasket in her ford escape and I was stiff the entire next day!
Your still a hell of a mechanic. I just did the front valve cover on my 04 es330 and took me 3 hours cause I have lower back problems. But prior to me getting hit in 2022 I did knock sensors valve covers on a past vehicle I owned 00 es300 and never had lower back problems. It sucks. lol. But gotta push through Over winter break I’ll do the knock sensors and back valve cover probably will take me 2-4 days. Cause I won’t be able to lean over for long.
Bless you! That little pin had me stuck for a bit and with no access to other screws, I was beginning to think this was a throw away oven. 4 days to Turkey Day, i just might make it!
Thank you! Your video solved our problem :)
Where is the recipe
What size bolt for the knock sensors? And do you need a swivel socket to remove?
I have Astro magnavox! Just found you ! What is best way just to clean and lubricant!
How did you "just slip off" the oven door?
Open it half-way and then just pull up
Thanks!!!
I just bought a Philco e-676-124 that is the same chassis, could find nothing until I looked for other cabinet styles. Your video showed me the step I was missing to get at the circuit board. I make my own 90 and 7.5 volt batteries so I hope to make mine a portable again. :) Thank you!
at the 7:23 mark, is that from underneath the oven, or is that at the back of the oven?
We're baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! ;) It's that time again!
Is there a way to suppress the noise floor ratio?
Thankyou for keeping it simple and straight to the point! I feel confident making this now
I have an Alesis V25, and my drum pads trigger multiple times with a single press. It has the latest firmware update. Does your keyboard have this problem? Could it be resolved by disassembling it?
I bought mine new just like that one in 1974 For $75 .. of course it makes a noise.. dummy keep it level. Mine definitely needs calibration after using it for 50 years. BTW 60 = 60bpm (beats per minute) one per second. That’s a rubber foot. This was a top of the line metronome of the 70’
Le bruit de féraille qu'il fait en première n'est pas normal. Le mien fait le même bruit je soupçonne une usure du rotor. Au Fil des années de service et si c'est intensif le rotor c'est usé. C'est le frottement des charbons sur celui ci 👐
Of all the fancy pumpkin pie recipes out there, I am glad I found this pot of gold!!! Tried and true recipe...going on my 3rd year using this recipe. Thanks Rob!

Hmm any suggestions if cleaning it didn’t work. I just have a single key I can’t get signal from
Just had the blade screw come out of my Bosch jigsaw which I've had and used a lot for decades. The screw is lost. Have trawled for it with a magnet in the sawdust but no luck. I manufacture machinery so have many sizes and types of screws to hand. Could you advise please what thread it is and I can probably modify one to suit. Thanks for the video. Clear and concise.
It’s looks to be a nice receiver, I was looking to buy one till I see it’s use a stk… man I hate stk…
I also have a video on a Toshiba that it is a little bigger that does not have an STK. You can see it in the background in all my videos.
really great video, i have this keyboard myself. the information regarding cleaning dirty contacts and rescuing electronic devices with alcohol is really helpful.

I have an early fifties RCA PA head amplifier and I really think the secret sauce in these amps are the great transformers they hold! With a few modifications these can be really great for guitar.
The whole thing seemed really well built!
