This is good shit! My RWD 340i with downpipe and 93 tune has a valid PB of 9.98 in 1100 DA. Usually runs a reliable 10.1 in 1k air though. This car would be an AWESOME match up for mine. (Although I have a flexfuel sensor sitting in my garage 😈) I never get lucky and find cars like this to run with though! No fun beating up on stock 5.0/LS3/392 cars but also too slow still (for now) to play with Hellcats, so I’m sticking chasing modded versions of the above cars (like this!!) or stock-ish GT350s/and C8s seems to be the only close cars to run. I either have to get faster or slower lmao. Would really love to run with a car like yours though!

I just did this to my 09 GSXR 750, in my case after I cut the cat out I had to ground off the welds and put my slip-on, on, but mine was super tight to fit on, I did buy that U bolt type clamp to squeeze the pipe but never needed it. My mid pipe had a half circle too that fit into the exhaust valve with two tiny slits. after I was done I went for a spin, my gawd .. its a whole other beast, the pops are crazy too 😂

What is the setup

I got full bolt ons on a manual SS, pretty much the same setup you have. I went with 1 7/8 long tubes over the 2". Started with the LT2 intake lightly ported and then went MSD. The difference between the intakes is this. The MSD has a higher top end but sacrifices some low end torque under 4K rpm. Not much but it does take a hit. The LT2 doesn't lose torque down low but also doesn't have the top end of the MSD.
