You guys have some really unique collaboration video topics 🥰 Oh my goodness, mudlarking sounds so intriguing! As a camper enthusiast, I'm hoping to incorporate some amateur archeology into my own trips. In my home state of Ohio where I usually camp, many of our rivers and creek beds are great places to search for arrowheads and other ancient artifacts from the past tribes that inhabited the land.

Not quite madlarking but I used to go metal detecting in the same sorts of locations. However, there are so many restrictions these days it stopped being fun. So many suitable locations fall under "Site of Special Scientific Interest". Do they affect what you do?

Some lovely old bottles you've found there. Have you ever tried magnet fishing or metal detecting? We often use clay pipe finds for dating mine workings.

I will have you know that this old fossil is only 65.

Christmas markets are a good call, they can get very busy and crowded though!

We keep the heating on at 5 degrees otherwise the water dumps - that said, we're full timers ! A great Christmas market/fair is Stratford upon Avon (which of course has easy overnight parking). Also, look out for the light festival at Warwick castle (again, we easy overnight parking). Our favourite is Balmoral - but that we rely on a secret park up 😁😁

A Christmas market would be nice, but I don't know what towing in snow and ice would be like!

Great suggestions. We also like to leave the heating on a few degrees during the winter.

I wouldn’t book grass even in the summer, unless it’s close to the time of going. We get rain all the blinking time these days!

I'm am going through this now, bought a van mid winter, I am doing the conversation by myself on the street and some at the hardware store carpark 😂The weather is getting better and progress is quicker now. A jigsaw, a handsaw, two work horses, and a drill. It's great to see what you have achieved in similar circumstances 👍

I know the problems your facing, my build was in the street and my workshop was the van (lots of vacuuming) 😂😂 luckily i had room to use a workmate + the bed 😁 The van is Looking very nice 👌

Van is looking good so far, with regards to getting the bits before you need or use them - it’s good to know you’ve got the bits you may need over not having the bits you do need to progress the build. You’ve obviously both got an eye for quality of fitting and building. Well done both 🙌 🙌 Andy and Kim

I am building a van off grid…no house to dive in for power 0k I got a petrol generator, but you have to plan the best time to use it, ie charge phone etc at same time, etc…yeah totally weather dependant, and everything takes a lot longer. And no storage for a sink etc, so planning essential.😮and my friends still take the we we even though they haven’t a clue what’s involved lol…one of the hardest things is having no address to enable to buy online, unless it is very small ( Amazon Locker) or Click and Collect ( eBay, up to certain size and weight). That’s what most guys take for granted, but sourcing stuff is hard, and then none, or very limited storage to buy in advance

Great idea for a colab video guys. Love it. I’ve been making what I would call erm bad videos for the last couple of years, and have now with. I regularly watch one of the campers in your collaboration travelling to sites and you can hear all sorts of shakes and rattles going on in the background. This would drive me bonkers! Is this normal for a campervan/motorhome and is it to be expected because it’s all one big space?
