The way the weather has turned makes me want to get the diesel heater going next, weather is a huge factor, as it gets colder, wetter and darker, a bit of a slowdown happens. Respect to you for doing it the street and the car park, we are happy to have a driveway right next to the house - we had easy access to power when it was needed. We’re glad we didn’t have to use the van as a workshop, that would have made it even tougher. We’ve done plenty of vacuuming- glad when the inverter became live for sure, cables from the kitchen window not ideal. Thanks, hoping we can keep up appearances with the kitchen build. 😃😃👍👍🐮🐮

Thanks very much - we are happy with Moo. The tripod is a K&F Concepts, think about 1,6 meters. The arm for the field recorder is a separate SmallRig clamp-on. I’ll DM what I remember if the details, the stuff is not new. Pete.

Thanks you two! Yes, having something early does mean you have it for sure for later (if/when you find it!) early buying avoids the inflation issue as well. We started paying £33 a sheet of 18 mm ply, it’s now £40 for the same. (Use quite a lot during the build). Keeping an eye on the end finish does add time and expense, but it gives us what we need. We put a little extra drama into this one for TH-cam. We realise that it would be a lot harder without what we have (but still wish we could afford to do it in a unit!). Wishing that delivery was possible to a What3Words location, it is taking off, but slowly- KFC does it. Definite respect to you for truly doing it the hard way!! Hello there. It’s normal-ish. Definitely didn’t happen with the caravan. There are mitigations such as using rubber matting in cutlery draw, pack t-towels between plates, pans, etc. Something to bear in mind is that things don’t sound the same in TH-cam as they do in real life, those microphones can really give the impression that those rattles are louder/ more prominent than in real life.

There's no obligation to shuffle, they also have an off-grid field with fantastic views (we had a caravan still). We love mudlarking, miss doing it and miss making the mudlarking videos - I have one video in edit that's also been there since caravanning days. One day...

This was one video where the revunue from TH-cam exceeded the cost of making the video, including the lock parts - that makes me happy!

I love the irony in the TLA 'USB' - far, far from universal. A revisit to Cornwall is on the cards one of these days.

Thanks Gill. Kaz couldn’t pass on ‘Moo’ for the van, works on many levels (I can imagine a Highland Coo with a Fresian paint job…). We now get into some stuff that has nice visible results instead of what seemed to be quite a lot of prep work. The NEC gave us some inspiration as well as realising there are lots of ways to design something, you somewhat please yourself. A few accessories were indeed purchased. Pete 😃😃😃😃

We are glad the weather is turning, albeit slowly. Perhaps one day you could do a build - you have the skills! The cardboard is long gone, space is always an issue. I’m considering a DC breaker that can be had cheap, looks good and is effective. (The simple way is to work at night ;) ). No idea which company the van came from, think Kaz has a name she’s fixing on. Ibuprofen is essential can building equipment! Thanks for the comment, another video approaches. 👍👍👍
