Hi Kaz and Pete, this was a brilliant take on the title, loved the nasty nifs, ithe van is coming together, be great to see it when it is completed, take care x Julie and Tony x
The bulkhead is there to protect you in case of a collision or impact, where loose or poorly secured items are thrown at you at high speed. Selfmade campervans without bulkheads can be very dangerous in an accident..
I regularly watch one of the campers in your collaboration travelling to sites and you can hear all sorts of shakes and rattles going on in the background. This would drive me bonkers! Is this normal for a campervan/motorhome and is it to be expected because it’s all one big space?
Hello there. It’s normal-ish. Definitely didn’t happen with the caravan. There are mitigations such as using rubber matting in cutlery draw, pack t-towels between plates, pans, etc. Something to bear in mind is that things don’t sound the same in TH-cam as they do in real life, those microphones can really give the impression that those rattles are louder/ more prominent than in real life.
Removing the bulkhead must have been sooooo satisfying. 😀
It was a relief to see it gone :)

Glad you enjoyed it. Off to the NEC soon to see if we can get a bargain on some of the outstanding essentials (water tanks, etc) .
@@CraftyCampervanners have a good time x we’ve been today and now home I keep nodding so tired x

So called professional converts also have the same risks. It’s up to us to securely build, which we have every intention of doing.
Entirely agree, no-one wants a giraffe in their van or extra screw holes in their bottom!
Definitely a total ban on any livestock…. Having just the right amount of holes usually suffices;)
Hi guys , fab vlog, will you be keeping your camper when you have finished it 👍
Thanks Kev. Now that’s a question we don’t have the answer to at the moment. There is lots of ‘it depends’ things going around in our heads.

Definitely don't want rattles, most vans have them! Hopefully just your wine bottles clattering together.
He he - wonder if we could stop that problem with a nice box wine . . . ;) Either that or just drink 'em quicker!
Second idea is the best!@@CraftyCampervanners
Well Kaz you have to start calling Pete by his real name not Nasty Niff.
I'm getting used to 'nasty niff', Pete!
Great twist on the subject. Interesting to hear the things you don’t want 🤣👏💙🚐 Trev
Thanks very much - we kinda had to work with what was on the driveway...
