Hi Pete and Kaz I’ve learnt something new watching this video didn’t know about mudlarking . looks like you have found some great finds there thanks guys for showing your hobby 👍🏻👍🏻
You guys have some really unique collaboration video topics 🥰 Oh my goodness, mudlarking sounds so intriguing! As a camper enthusiast, I'm hoping to incorporate some amateur archeology into my own trips. In my home state of Ohio where I usually camp, many of our rivers and creek beds are great places to search for arrowheads and other ancient artifacts from the past tribes that inhabited the land.
I always liked you videos when you were mud larking and explaining what you’d found. Wishing you both a happy Christmas and a wonderful new year. Take care Gill
Really good video ! you got some cool finds there. The poison bottles look cool. Thanks for not only telling us about your hobby but teaching us something to!
Some lovely old bottles you've found there. Have you ever tried magnet fishing or metal detecting? We often use clay pipe finds for dating mine workings.
No we haven’t tried either of those. Yes, miners would have smoked their pipes and discarded them - that’s something we have not heard of but makes total sense. Not tempted to try going down a mine though in search of them 🤪
We do have another TH-cam channel called crafty campervanners beachcombing (beachcombing) take a look at some of our videos over there. We have not done much but what is there is educational!
Not quite madlarking but I used to go metal detecting in the same sorts of locations. However, there are so many restrictions these days it stopped being fun. So many suitable locations fall under "Site of Special Scientific Interest". Do they affect what you do?
To be honest we stick to public land so woods, beaches etc so no rules. Also what we find tends to have no monetary value. Mudlarking on the banks of the river Thames is illegal without a licence.
Thanks for watching this video
How interesting! One of our YT friends Scotland on a Shoestring also goes dump digging sometimes. The things you can find!
Thanks for sharing N&Nx

It great that your motorhome takes you so many places to mudlark!
It does! We must get back to doing more of it.

I would not have guessed mudlarking, have you found anything really exciting? I have a metal detector must start using it again.
Bring back the mud larking videos, I miss them.😊

Just catching up on the collab, beautiful jewellery you make Caz, what’s the most unusual thing you’ve found while mudlarking? Em 💜
