When decks are copied and knowing how to play the game, unless you're the first to create that deck, it's not skill. Too many carbon copies just hoping to top b4 the opponent. I used to play at tournaments just to troll.

I just feel bad that so many people got all up into the cg equivalent of Mystic Quest. It's not too late, you could be playing a game thats won accolades from MENSA, you could be playing the most complex game ever invented. You can still turn back to the light.

Maybe it's just me, but after going through an entire tourney and winning a trophy, I wouldn't be willing to duel anyone either. Your chance to duel me was in said tournament, and now that it's over and I'm trying to chill with my friends, you wanna come up and challenge me? Then you get mad when I turn you down cause my world doesn't revolve around you? Yeah, I feel like this whole beef started cause people's ego got hurt. I'm not saying either wasn't rude, but regardless, this is a hell of a way for a rivalry to begin.

Six Samurai was my 2nd deck I ever played with back in 2008 and I'll always remember staying up all night as a high school kid and then went on to college and skipping class just to play yugioh lol. The nostalgia of six Sam. Before that TeleDAD was probably my favorite and my last deck I ever played was Wind-Up. Man it's been a long time.

Hinestly, I find combo players complaining about mystic mine being toxic really funny because their entire playstyle is toxic aswell. How fun is it to sit there and wait 7 minutes until your opponent has finished playing and has an all negate board. Kinda hypocritic to think that combo players don‘t want the opponent to be unable to play the game isn‘t it? At this point to me the entire design of Yugioh is toxic which is also why as a casual player is stopped playing.

Yu-Gi-Oh players started reading cards? Maybe at the YCS level, but don't expect it at locals or online. I'm reminded of when I KoG'd with the Golden Castle of Stromberg in Duel Links in 2020. The amount of players that tried attacking only for the castle to destroy their monsters was embarrassing.

Im one of those rogue unorthodox duelist… i love the game, only $700 sum into master duel on ps4 & phone & havea total of 54 decks; but playing for bout 8years now? The community had definitely become like ban-wagon duelist & are systematically cliche/repetitious with their play styles & deck builds. But all in all, regardless of the annoyances the game Is art; even with its underdog type tactics u may encounter certain duels Not gonna lie i do run control/floodgate allot… umi, ice barrier, icejade, & barrier statue of the torrent.
