It's showing 10 now but yes, my views often go down somehow, we have been keeping notes and they go up and back down... Not even possible eh. I watched you and your princess out on the black beauty too, lovely video and deserves more promotion by TH-cam. They seem to have something against Scottish vloggers... None do as well as they should. We used to search for them and thought there must only be one or two... Over time more cropped up that had been posting for years, yet never showed when we specifically searched for them. But yeah, I get more views on tiktok than on here, but it's not better as need more than on here to get where they promote you more (unless you pay them 😂😂)

@michaellilley6725 thanks, yeah I just need to shake it off now, the fact that it seems to rain almost every day just now isn't helping 😂 the odd sunny day I've hardly made it anywhere and then rain again 😂 but what I did find, was that when I threw my back out (literally on the floor and couldn't move) when I could move again, being on the bike took it away entirely (with help of a kidney belt) so that was a bonus 🤣

@michaellilley6725 thank you. Im loving the leathers and the new lid is amazing compared to my old ls2...still love my ls2 for the design though, but the agv is posh compared 😂. Just need a helmet mount and intercom now though 🤔 always something else eh. Hope you are getting some of this better weather finally.

@@ScottishSaorsa I took Black Beauty out for a blast in the sun on Saturday and intended to treat myself to some biker scran. I stopped at the Tullybannocher restaurant as had a few other bikers. Guess what? They weren't serving food, just coffee and cake ( nearly 8 quid for a small slice of millionaires shortbread and a Latte 🤑😯😲) Still I had a good chat with the owner of a Honda CB1300 Super Four.

@michaellilley6725 wow that truly is shortbread for millionaires 😂 i love a good coffee and a nice millionaires shortbread, but ive never paid quite that much for them so far thankfully. Black beauty is such an amazing machine. That bike deserves some lovely sunny days to get out and play 👌🏻

@@ScottishSaorsa Before heading to out on the run I got Black Beauty a healthy nose bag, £20 for 11 litres of Maximum Horse power. Had I known the cost of the coffee and shortbread I wouldn't have had it, it was two in the afternoon and I really wanted some lunch. I ended up going to Macy D's on my return to Perth, not what I'd planned but it filled a hole 😋

@michaellilley6725 sounds like us the sunday we were looking for food in newton stewart....luckily found a chippy, but i really didnt want hot food that day ...wanted a simple sandwich but apparently not in newton stewart on a sunday 😂 ...fuel must be quite expensive on that beauty though.

It was a good day for sure. Mildly chilly as i was using heated gloves, but not bad at all. Love that road, its a great stretch to enjoy.

The south west is often overlooked, but the whole area down there is amazing for bikes. This day we were riding down to catch the glasgow slow riders ...we didnt want to join in, just wanted to catch them on cam and give them all a wave 😂 so more to come from the south in next vid or 2 maybe.

Sadly, she gave up after a year because of insurance prices. This was her first day after passing her cbt, and she did improve a lot. We hope she goes back to it again sometime 🤞🏻

@warhobbit7951 absolutely, the days when you get endless dry roads are my favourite, but it can be fun enough on grey or even damp days too...just not so nice on camera 🤣

Its the first section they have closed, you can go in still and go a different route into inverkip, but its now local access only. You can access the longer road up the back of greenock 'old largs road' and end up where we did though. ...im currently listening to your bike roar through the mountains for the second time (watch as me earlier and now he is playing it on his account 😁 so im spoilt today)its fantastic .... those views are just amazing.

Yeah, just the end can. Straight swap seems to make no difference ...i get slightly faster than they say i should but i weight a lot less probably than an average biker too...not sure if that is anything at all to do with the can, probably not 🤣

I've loved owning the cb500f....its a really fun bike that does everything well but isn't too quick. The new hornet looks great too. I highly recommend them at least for a while.

Its brilliant having the full license, knowing you can then progress at your own pace with whichever bikes you fancy. The cb500f has been an excellent first bike for me. Its got just enough power to enjoy on the roads but not too much to get you in serious trouble. I keep thinking of upgrading and never quite manage it. Selling the 500 still feels wrong 🤣 good luck with your own journey. 🤞🏻

Night riding is definitely a different ballgame...I've gotten more used to it, but I'm still happier with a little daylight. Yeah, we never stop at largs carpark, well, actually we did once...I might still have a vid to make with that...we were out late again that time and the carpark was entirely deserted 🙃 Thanks for that, I wasn't very close to my dad since he was away down south, but still weird knowing he is gone now.

@Stevefoster80 I started riding in 2020 so fairly new myself. In this video I had been passed my full test a little under 2 years, so it was easy to put myself in her place. Don't stress yourself over learning, just enjoy it and in no time it becomes natural and you wonder why you were so uncertain at first. Dropping the bike isn't great, but most learners do it, and every now and then so can seasoned riders. The main thing is that you're ok and keep learning from every situation, good or bad, until you start to feel like you've nailed it.

Thanks Tojj. Yeah it definitely helped to get out on the bike. I'm a pretty logical thinker, but even I have moments when it gets me in the emotions ...so it's nice to have a way to clear my head and think more straight again. 👌🏻

This was our first proper ride this year, I ride to and from his daily, and we've done some short or necessary rides,but this was the first "just because" ride. So it was nice to catch a sunset as well. 👌🏻 Hope you're getting better weather up there now, we have rarely had a day without at least a little rain for months now. 🙃

@@ScottishSaorsa The weather is much the same here, some days it starts off looking promising only to turn for the worse by lunchtime. The odd dry day we do get tends to be during the week when I'm working. The odd occasion when I have got out I've had audio issues with the wind. I've also been lazy to edit and upload on the Grey Wolf channel and seriously disappointed when I finally did. My last video was in absolutely stunning countryside up and down a historic Glen, yet for some reason doesn't seem to have been seen by many of my loyal subscribers. It's almost like I've been shadow banned, I have other footage I could put up, but the way I feel it's like " what's the point".

I often see great videos and yet views are low...it's soul destroying when it seems to be 'hidden' . I love watching scenic vids, so when I find a good one I always wonder why I had to search hard for it instead of it being quickly recommended. It took us ages of searches to find so many Scottish and British motovloggers even though we were searching for and watching them. We felt like there must be almost none then found new ones that had videos going back years. TH-cam clearly has a favouritism problem .

Yeah, I know what you mean, however I have to give him his due...that road layout had been recently altered to make the part he was on oneway and changed the priority to the road I was on. So until not long before this video, he would normally have had right of way there and I'd have been waiting to turn right. And he had a look of utter horror on his face too 🤣

He said I should add it was him who said 'oh' and "jesus" and it took him real effort to bite his tongue, but he did understand that road layout was a likely problem ...he used to bawl in folks faces , but my chill rubs off on him I think....he said he wouldn't have stayed chilled if I hadn't got through ok though 🤣. I'm glad I drove a car for decades first, or I'd had been absolutely raging at him.

Yeah, he was horrified. It a fairly new road layout there which changed priority, so I blame that.

I think that mini-roundabout was so poorly marked that the banged up car driver might not even have recognised it as a roundabout. The state of UK roads has really deteriorated over the years. I'd blame the Tories but the SNP have to take responsibility for the shocking state of Scottish roads.

It's quite dreadful in most places in the UK it seems. They are never close to fixing them all regularly enough.

They filled it, then pretended to fix it with a thin skim over the top and in no time it was destroyed worse than before. They blame the car cruise ...I blame shoddy repairs.

I put a Denali on my own bike. On my wife's bike I installed one of them plus two loud car horns. That might have woken the old dear up!

Honestly, I'm so laid back I should be dead....I've had cars cause near accidents and I've avoided, and moved on and then the car behind me peeps at them and I'm like 'oh yeah, I probably should have done that huh'....I just ride like I'm invisible and expect all that crazy nonsense and then it never really scares me enough to make me fully react...I just maybe swear or have a little mutter about it, but I probably should be more irate...it is potential death when these clowns dont look properly. ...the wind hit about 50mph here at one point but was only approx 40mph gusts when I was out for this vid. The night before riding home was worse...but I've definitely adapted to riding in the wind now 🤣

I think the white car assumed the other was going straight through the mini roundabout and pulled into the side of the other as it went round ....they all seemed shaken but alright at least ...the goretex boots were needed when I got wet feet in a torrential downpour last year 🤣 but didn't want to wear them in the winter cause of the salted roads ...a little counter productive but by next winter I won't mind so much 🤞🏻
