Yup, I have been looking for new boots for a while, so when I was getting some cash for Christmas, I decided I could afford to go a little bit better. These were the only ladies specific gore tex I could find in my size and price range, so hopefully they are worth the splurge 🤞🏻😁
Oh I can only imagine you've had these on already & not just wearing about the house! 😮😉👍 I hit a few huge puddles while out Christmas shopping & despite my feet staying dry, I'd to super glue my toes back on when I got back in, froze them clean off!!! 🥶🤣👍
To be honest, I've not been out on the bike. Last I'm certain was 29th Nov. It's possible there was a day or two in December but on Dec 21st, I got home to find my bike laying on its side, I couldn't even lift her even after managing to get the cover and chains off. So next morning he came down on his bicycle and picked her up and took her back to his where it's more sheltered. Since then I haven't moved her... Between Christmas mayhem and feeling a bit off colour but not actually ill... I've just not got back to it yet. I do have heated socks and heated insoles if I need them so my feet were gonna be warm but last heavy rain my feet were soaked in a minute so I just knew I should get something decent this time. Can't wait to try them and the leather pants and summer gloves he got me for Christmas, but those will both be waiting for a little warmer weather I think 🤣
@johndiehardmclean23 yeah it blew over, I thought it was tucked away enough but the winds must've decided to prove me wrong. Yeah, the 'pants' thing is growing on me with bike trousers cause I tend to shop online and so lots use both to get sales from everywhere 🤣 hoping I'll get the bike out tomorrow and give her a wee test blast to see if I can feel any issues. He only rode her about 2 miles maybe 3 from mine to his so he never noticed anything but of course a longer run is needed to be sure 🤞🏻

Yeah tiktok is something I do with certain pics or whatever, but I'm not really a huge fan of it.
