I always wanted to be a fighter pilot... Mainly cause I wanted to be a red arrow and when I asked at the airshow how you become one they said be an raf ace pilot.... Plus I wanted to fly a harrier jump jet 🤣
@neilmackinnon3371 that would have been 34 years ago when I was 12, so yeah 🤣 but the doc diagnosed me with asthma (I don't have asthma BTW) and once it's on your medical record, they won't let you fly jets 😐
@@ScottishSaorsa I would have loved to be a pilot, but my maths was always pants and then at 17 I had a bike crash (pillion passenger), busted my left leg properly and lost some flex in my knee, so like you I wouldn't have made the medical. Ahh well, such is life.
@neilmackinnon3371 I was a weird one, maths was my fav subject, I wasn't a nerd but did do brilliantly considering I hardly tried, in fact, those who didn't know me thought I was in the wrong class when I was sat down in credit maths the first day of 3rd year... One of my classmates walked in on them questioning me and said och sammies in credit for everything... And it was like a collective cartoon jaw drop... Nobody knew 😂... But yeah the asthma thing was a pain

Nice 'jink' right. Because we ride motorbikes, most of us have reaction times fast enough to allow us to drive an F1 car or fly a fighter jet!
