It’s a good car but that one is priced a bit high. I had the same car and also had an ‘89 300SE, an ‘02 CL500 and now have an ‘05 and ‘04 CLK320. I wish I’d kept the 300CE because it is such a low-maintenance vehicle. It also rides very smoothly. Check for any rust and check the accuracy of the odometer! Also, that car has an aftermarket radio and exhaust.

in the end if you can get it cheap enough why not. What long term are you going to do, keep it or fix up and sell. They are hard to come by especially in a better condition. It would make great video content, but then any Mercedes would. Nah I think you could get a better one.

I would avoid personally Max, too many issues and condition doesn't look great - looks to be hiding more issues too. I think you should get a C208 CLK or a R230 SL. Look forward to seeing what you buy!

the coupe of the 124 chassis is brilliant. but this car - I don't know the k jetronic is not easy to handle, you mentioned the head gasket. all in all a lot of work. I would not buy this car, looking for a better w124 coupe 🙂

I think you should choose C124 with M104 engine, it's more reliable. Otherwise, the C124 before 1993 year had chrome radiator grille, and it looks better for me. The car from video, not so good at all. And what about C126? It's the father of all Mercedes coupes for me :)

I would not. Buy really good one (and newer) that was kept in garage (rust issues otherwise), price is probably double than this, or even three times this (if it is gem with low mileage).

How did you go with this? I ordered all 7 cylinders and replaced them to find the RH replacement cylinder leaked like a tap even into the rear seat foot well. Hopefully I have it sorted soon after removing drivers seat to clean out the oil.

I’ve changed my valve cover gaskets on my w203 c32 amg followed the same process with the right torque specs ( cleaned the block, made sure the gasket is in place, used rtv at the tricky corners)and its still leaking from the lower part after replacement its making me crazy tho any suggestions ???

Thanks for this informative video. I am hoping you can help me with a similar prob! I have a plug-in hybrid C350e 2017. the car's auxiliary battery, main battery, and starter motor are new. However, I still get the error "Stop Vehicle. Leave the engine running". Occasionally, the car also shows the warning: "Collision Prevention Assist Plus inoperative" I placed the car on a scanner and only one error shows: U301700 - The real-time Internal Control Unit Clock Has A Malfunction. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Do you know what might be my issue? Driver window doesn’t roll down and the switch for works to roll the other windows down but once I press it to roll down the driver side I lose power to my power seats and mirror and to the master switch as well?

Thanks !! I have an issue with the ac in my clk500 passenger side ac is cold but on the driver side the ac just push some ambient air. it is warmer than the other side. I think it a flap issue but I dont know where it is.. Could you help me for that and maybe make a video on this issue ? Thanks again
