W124 gives a sweet ride even after 30 years, there are issues and this one is not a show car and requires a lot of work. Would you ever buy one? What engine and body type your choice would be then?
Fantastic! Congrats! 124 will always be one of my favorites. My family has a very low mileage C124 300CE (M103) sitting overseas. I need to import it and make sure it gets driven
Hi Brian, I believe the facelift happened in 1993 and mine being Feb 93 is probably months away from that. I was thinking about changing the tail lights TBH...
@rfbu I have been driving to grab coffee few times a week, not too bad, but as a daily not for me as my commute is a long one and adaptive cruise control is a must.
Had a grey market 190d that had thw burbury cloth interior and was slow as $hit, but once it got going. Its in Miami now. My Ex gave my car to her dad when I left. Miss that car. Not her. 🎉😂😂😂😂😂

You are lucky to find this gem. I am sure the replacement parts are plenty locally and online. Kindly restore it and keep us updated.
@sketchbabu Thanks mate, already bought many parts and lots of videos coming, will keep you posted, cheers Max 🍻
Nice find!! Looking forward to seeing your repairs.
Thanks mate, sure. ;)
Nice one Max, some good videos coming in soon. I am starting to look for a late 80's W126 420sel to add to the collection.
Thanks Allan, great choice. I am taking a break from complexity:) you know what I mean ;)
Nice car Max! 👌
Nice car! I think this is a better buy than the others you looked at. It will be good to see you bring it back to life.
@colindavidson4297 Thanks Colin, yes I also think this car deserves some care and not yet junkyard. 👍

@@SamAbraham Thanks Sam, it is great to see people loving these old machines and eager to go a long way to own and maintain these 👍
The problem of that beauty, are the replacement parts. Nowdays there are not
Yes. Correct.
You will make that a beautiful car.
Here in Ireland our biggest enemy is corrosion from salt on the roads.
@tramptruck4859 Thanks mate, Yes W124 and rust are friends.
I would certainly buy one if parts were conveniently available
@@rfbu 👍
You are 1 year away from face lifted 1994. The face lifted taillight & headlights should be swappable to your 1993? Nice & rare find !

I got a white w124 from 1987, but with the grey panels installed, so it looks like the 90s era in exterior

Make it nice and shine I like to see the result, greets from Germany
Thanks mate, will try :)
