Keep an eye on your ballpoint position after adjusting the steering box, you'll need a factory tool to measure it, it often becomes out of spec after adjusting the steering box and will need resetting. Sometimes there is not enough travel on the steering box arm to accommodate this...
@@BenzAddiction You are more than welcome. If the BPP is out your toe out on turns will be affected, you can feel this by having to turn in slightly more at the beginning of a turn than what it takes to maintain the turn, means you over turn the steering wheel to start the turn, then have to back off slightly once the car starts its turn. Best experienced at 70 plus km/h on a road with good bends. Take a note next time you are on one of those roads, if you have to back off slightly after initial turn in, it is time to check your ball point position. Sometimes the boss on the steering arm needs a little thinning, may be only a mm or two. This was noticed on a Sportline E320, everything factory standard.
you are my go to guy for everything sl500. on a different subject my cd changer display says mu cd changer so I purchased another and it says the sake thing. any idea mr benz addiction would appreciate your help

Why do you fellas keep using WD 40 it stinks and it's totally useless. There is better rust removers that work better.moovit spray works the best.
