First time finding your channel I want to own a boat iin the future and just hearing you monologue and your aspirations for Panama Scotland and your ideas about becoming a captain its very eye opening and you on your boat is inspiring you are wealthier than you know with or without the heli.

That portion of the bridge is 74.8 feet, as noted on the chart not 55 feet - i cannot imagine going under any bridge without double checking charts or guides

ive seen negative opinions reguarding buddy boating, yes there are issues in timeing and destinations however cruiseing 2 or more boats add greatly to security and relaxed peace of mind, tall sailing ships in the past formed armadas for good reason, lawless criminal opertunists can and will hunt you down alone out there

radar is affordable and a must have off shore, any suspicious stalking vesels will be detected far beyond visual, actualy over the horizon, we have seen recent bad outcomes and people vanashing never to be found obviously a result of poor or no security at all, apon detecting a distant radar contact you change coarse and note thier responce

this is rusty grill your ghost 1st mate, i can board anytime, beyond the weather and sea there are big risks out here to stay ahead of, like undsireables running us down from the stern and force boarding, did you know a 10 meter mast and sail is not visible on the horizon beyond 6 miles

From off shore the entrance to St Augustine pass is difficult to spot in good weather. Channel markers are not east to see. In the weather you show, impossible. just have to trust your GPS nav. It is a beautiful harbor and town. I have moored on the north and south fields and in the city marina. The north anchorage/mooring is just off the old Spanish colonial fort. I home port in JAX. Hauled my 44ft cutter for a time at Oasis Boatyard. Great place.

While I like and appreciate your style and honesty of telling about it the way it is, I wish there as an order/sequence to your videos. Perhaps there is and I’m not able to find them. I was able to find the ones from the time you first started and making your way to New York. I can’t seem to find the ones after your first time on the Atlantic down to Bahamas. What am I doing wrong? Wishing you fair winds and calm seas ⛵️❤🍻

At .7 gal per hr at 6 knots 215 on 25 gal so 100 gal i could sea 900 to 1000 nm per tank . 25 gal tank carry 50 gal one could sail 90 hrs avg at 6 nmph 540 thats cheap sailing
