Rule 4 is the reason why I have separate desk set-ups for gaming vs. working. Usually by end of day if I was going to game in the same spot I was working hours ago I would experience what I call "area fatigue" and would no longer have the willpower to game any further because the exhaustion from working would just overpower it. This completely disappeared when I built a whole separate desk set-up just for gaming.

nice....will wait for android version....i do use a wall calendar system...its more visual and large on the wall...but the mobile version is nice also...

Good call with Rule 4. I work from home and also play video games at the same desk. I use a different mouse and headphones when I'm working and when I'm gaming, which helps me with the mindset shift. I really like your idea of using a different color of light though, I'll have to add that to my setup.

the subscription fee is quite hefty, i wish James Clear made it in such a way that the app is like a “bonus” feature for people who bought the book or something but ayy, nonetheless, a great concept

FUNFACT: you dont need a fancy app to build habits. Just use your calendar. That it. Simple and working very well for me.

quality over quantity, no upload would be better if you have some VALUE coming next week. You can always post shorts instead if you don't have anything prepared for some reason🦾

The app seems cool at first, but here's the catch: it's free for just 28 days. After that, they want €20 per month or €130 per year for the full experience like having more than one habit! Way too pricey in my opinion...😅

Read the book it was pretty easy to understand but well your simple habit tracker template makes it more realistic to follow those tips in the book Thanks Man for providing more insight on the topic and for providing this much value keep it up!

you will not believe I want to make this app 😭 I really love the book "atomic habits" and planning to make an app based on this book so people can also implement the lessons in real life efficiently.
