That Mouthwashing game looks very interesting (: And I like Crow Country as well. Silent Hill 2 definitely blew me away (: It was my game of the year and I was really sad and didn't get the love it deserved at the game awards.
Happy New Year, Ruben! While I haven't played a lot of horror games last year, I'm happy to see that the horror genre is growing in mainstream gaming. I loved Silent Hill 2 Remake and Still Wakes the Deep. And I have yet to check out Mouthwashing, Crow Country and A Quiet Place.
Still wakes the deep was indeed pretty good. And thinking back to it, it's even scarier how it's playing in the middle of the ocean and how we still haven't explored much of it
Silent Hill 2 Remake was the highlight of my year! I’d been looking forward to it since the teaser trailer back in 2022. Hopefully there will be more Silent Hill in 2025.
Crow Country reminds me of an old Dreamcast game called ILL Bleed. You and some friends get an invitation to a private visit to a famed amusement park.
My Three Favorit Games Of 2024 Were ... ❝ Banishers • Ghosts Of New Eden ❞ ❝ The Legend Of Zelda • Echoes Of Wisdom ❞ & The ❝ Silent Hill 2 Remake ❞ !!!!!
Im a Resident Evil fan, i got silent hill and it looks stunning, and has good reviews, and with its success i bet there will be new remakes from SH, my main criticism is the save points are too restrictive, the combat isnt bad but its repetitive, and goes to my third point the enemies are repeititve and it doesnt make them as scary since you encounter the grunts so often and are easy to manage, thats a similar issue to RE7 the enemies were repetitive and seemed like sponges
It's not Bloober's fault. Masahiro Ito, the original creator of the monsters in SH2 didn't want new monsters to be added into the game. He just created multiple variants of the same enemies instead. How can save points be restrictive? Like, there's even an auto save feature in the game to help with this issue. There are plenty of red squares 🟥 to be found throughout the game. Towards the end, sure, the mannequins' jump scares become predictable but that's quite frankly unavoidable, since the monsters automatically get weak and die after James learns the truth. So there's no purpose for them anymore.
I’ve listened to you talk about Still Wakes the Deep in two of these videos now and I still don’t understand why you like it. I found it to be very boring, with a mediocre story and not much for redeeming qualities that dragged on too long. Usually stalker games or walking sims have very interesting environments or stories to keep you moving forward.
The environment was very good. A well made petrol platform in the middle of the sea with crazy alien horror colorful visuals and insane monster designs. I can get you when you say it was dragging in some places and the story could be ok for some but its nooo where near a bad game
Silent Hill 2 is easily my favorite game this year. Hopefully, we will get Resident Evil 9 in 2025.

Nice video as always 😁, but I was a bit surprised that you didn't mention alone in the dark 😢
Tbh it’s a mid game. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be, but still sad to see the devs behind it shut down
I liked your list this time. I enjoyed the reason why they where here. Good job, Happy new year

This list is FANTASTIC

Love the content keep it up brother
Thanks! Will do!
I absolutely love still wakes the deep. I watched 8-bit ryan play it and then I played it. Such a great game.
Also I love your video's man❤️
I absolutely loved what they did with SH2 remake.
Really underrated channel
I was watching this last night with my husband on the tv he really loves watching your vids with me.
While replaying re4 remake, i ran into Salazar's god forsaken door and thought, can you do the most frustrating puzzles in resident evil?
I really want to play the Silent Hill 2 remake but not for 70 bucks
It’s worth it imo but I’m sure if you hold off long enough it’ll get cheaper
You could pirate it for free the same day they released it for those stupid enough to pay 10$ extra 🤣
I'm glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
I still have to finish crow country I had to stop the video before that continued lol
Go play it!! Btw I do avoid spoilers in this video so it shouldn’t ruin your playthrough of crow country
@ appreciate the heads up! Keep on trucking friend

SH2 would have to be my game of the year. I am about halfway through with Black Myth Wukong though and it's giving it a run for it's money. Lol.

First
Lesbian story...
Silent hill 2 remake sucked imo
Hard disagree but to each their own
same, why anyone would choose to play a watered-down censored version of SH2 is beyond me.
