El PC necesario tiene que ser de nueva generacion porque con procesadores lga y placa sin thunderbolt no funciona. Tengo otro escaner XYZ de 300€ con 12 años de antigüedad que le da un par de vueltas al miraco pro. Muy muy muy muy decepcionado, por lo que cuesta seguro que le habría sacado más partido a una tonelada de estiércol.

By experience handhelding like cameras without stabilisation is very micro jitter/shaky, would it improve to for example use a dslr gimbal on the scanner for very steady meassurements or is the latency just insane fast compared?

Life happened or I'd be considering one, maybe later. It would be entirely groovy if it could be possible to purchase only the sensor bar if to retrofit upgrade a preexisting miraco to essentially become a newer edition one, if it's the only actual difference in the original miraco and the newer blue lasered one.

Ive been trying to get my Mini 1 to scan anything usable for the last 2 years- Even have scanning spray and tracking dots on the object and it still can't hold track. Constantly drops scan, I haven't gotten a single good result with this thing in 2 years despite a lot of adjustment and trying.

I have a beginner's question: Is the point distance in fusion only limiting the ability to catch small features, or also accuracy/resolution? Difficult to tell what I mean, but let me try by massively over-simplifying it: Assuming I scan a square block with the length of 50.3mm. In the middle there is a groove with a width of 0.2mm. Now I fuse with 0.5mm. I assume that I will lose the groove, or it will be at least "washed out" a lot. But will I still get 50.3mm overall length, or either 50 or 50.5? As said, massively over-simplifying here. But I hope it is clear what I mean: Does the algorithm intelligently spread the points in a way that keeps the density but also the accuracy, or does it just put them in on the nearest position matching the fixed grid?

Does MetroX work well with AMD Ryzen 9 9950x? I just picked up my new pc yesterday with DDR5 and 4090 GPU. I see a lot of talk about Intel CPUs not so much about AMD.

We actually didn't doubt the laser scanning abilities - we asked you to try scanning black plastic objects with the feature mode ;)

What is the Preset Point Distance parameter at the top of the scanning parameters - It's new.

what size / diameter marker dots can you use? only large or a mixture of large and small will work at the same time? is the software only looking for a certain size in the "remover marker point" function? can you merge "laser" scans with "blue light" scans? and how many scans can you merge, your showing 2, whats the maximum number?

Suppose you wanted the original texture of the skateboard. What do you do with all the trackers you place on it? Thanks

I'd like to see how multiple scans are aligned. Instead of items sitting stationary on the turntable, turn them on a different side for each pass and then show the software's manual alignment process. I have a Creality scanner and I am looking for something else because their pc software is abysmal. Decent scanner, but the software is junk and makes me hate the scanner. I want to see more of your software.

This object is literally the only object I have been able to scan with the Inspire. I've had it for months and it's been a complete waste of time and money.

As of now it's stated that the scanning size is limeted to max. 1x1x1m, is this something that can be increased in the future? Larger Models would obviously need less detail than the small ones. Example: scanning a real car for 3d Printing at 1/20 scale. Ps. Project supported on KS.
