I've tried several styles of toppers, but only synthetic ones since I only wear them on special occasions to cover my top crown in one spot only where I have a big scar...I don't wear it every day. Getting the color match took a few tries, even though I sent the wig company a generous hair sample, they recommended me Job Renau color 12 and it was too light. I eventually tried color 10 which is an exact match. I hate any color with highlights because it screams fake to me, the 10 was perfect....while 10H16 or 10RH16 looks silly to me with those ghastly blonde highlights...tried those, big fail. Then the cap size was an issue for me, I don't want anything over 7" across, they look like a helmet on me, too puffy and wide, I prefer 6.5".....tge only option was Jon Renau top wave 18" in color 10, it's very realistic looking after I washed it and put a bunch of dry shampoo in it. It has a double monofilament top, much superior to the single lace top where you can see the knots...not for me. My own mother didn't know I was wearing a topper.

Will you cover how to make a topper look good on “going grey” hair or at least where to find toppers that might blend into dark salt and pepper hair. I have a Courtney I loved…up until I started greying significantly. 😢

Yesterday I went to Sephora and bought some of the best products in my area for the price and they are all sold in bulk at a reasonable discount so I’m going back and forth between them for a while to get a few things to make it work for you and then I’ll go back to my house to see what they are selling and see what I have in the meantime.

So are we saying that the $20 topper supposedly human hair that I found on Amazon is nothing but junk first time experimenting because loss and thinning hair has become a problem?
