Why no flaps?

VERY USEFULL NOTE!!! on your hud there's a roll meter. its like a half moon with and arrow in the middle. Located at the lower secton of the hud There are 2 parts that really matter. you have 2 big lines at either side. that part shows where the jammers get blocked. for example. you need to roll sideways and you turn through the first big line on that side. that means the only the jammers on that side gets blocked. you know when jammers are blocked when a white X is over your XMIT screen. so the part where there are still lines inbetween are good. you will block jammers if you enter the empty part of the half moon. I explain like dog water, check it out in a free flight or something. you will get it when you see it.

Wouldn't it be eaiser to notch then pull? Whilebyou may not be able to completely lose lock of a aim120, it will have a really hard time following you.

yes missiles are still faster then you when you do this I had somone shoot at me while I was at mach 2.4 and I got shot down by the aim 120

14:44 If the arrow is outside the rectangle the missle does not have enough energy to reach the target on its current course. (if the enemy keeps flying in a straight line). If its in the top portion it has enough energy to reach the target on its current course, but the enemy could change its course to be out of range. If its inside the bottom portion the missle has enough energy to reach the target no matter how it turns. Note that reaching the target and hitting the target are not the same thing.

This is exactly what I do whenever taking off in the EF-24, whenever I do it with a friend in the cockpit they start goin crazy thinking either Im trying to get them killed or their game is lagging like crazy

I have been failing at this for weeks, sometimes hitting the back of the carrier, trying to get wheels down before the cables. Holy cow, I never thought I was causing the problem by landing too soon. Thanks for the emphasis!

I updated the map for my Top Gun Maverick mission. Now, the crater isn't a giant cylinder! It's flatter with a slight downslope and feels very natural. The mission is a little easier now, because it's slightly easier to hit the bunker and much easier to exit the crater with decent speed, which improves your chances of surviving coffin corner. I struggled with this a lot in the tutorial as it wasn’t very clear in the game. This cleared up everything for me and I greatly appreciate it.

Goodness. A solid week after first watching this video, he does make it look a bit easier than it is. Theyre totally effective, but it takes some time to actually master. Excellent tutorial though, for being quick and to the point

What I do with dumb bombs is get 10000 of air gap between me and the target. CCIP to auto release. Auto pilot on, set fix air speed, set fixed altitude, grab the heading knob, and twist it onto target, when close hold in the fire button and let the ccip drop when on target. This will put a 500lb bomb through a open tank hatch.
