Hi Lisa, good video, glad you didn't get any damage in the storm,It wasn't too bad my way Los a big branch of a tree in the back garden but no damage was done,,
Thanks Lisa, for some brilliant long shots at Barton Broad and very close views of your new friend Mr Robin and you're right, he's there for the food, bless him. I think that the Cormorant had just about got away from a Pike. I was lucky that storm Darragh just blew a couple of things around at the back, I'd had the front chimney taken down the week before as it had looked like it was likely to be blown down for a while so no problem there. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thank you Stevie. You were lucky with the storm too. I reckon a pike too but I’m surprised a cormorant would try to get something so big. It’s the only thing to try and get him though.
Hi Lisa, fantastic clip of the tree creeper, so clear 👍 we loved seeing so many of the fantastic spots we have visited. Love from Wendy and me mi duck ❤
Hiya, we were out on Moonlight Shadow this week, rivers very quiet, we did moor next to Goosander at Neatishead having moored outside the Hotel Wroxham Saturday night. It was a tady 'blowy' despite having total confidence in our tying up abilities i did check several times during the night that we were still in the same place!
Hi Lisa I'd say the fishermen on Barton broad were after Pike. I wonder if Mr Pike had been after Mr Cormorant? The cruiser going by as you arrived at Irstead looked very much like the one I had for many years from Moores at Wroxham. You've also filmed it at Ludham bridge. Now in private ownership. I'd love to have a chat with them. Yellow cones usually identify a hazard. I wonder what happened? Robin's are absolutely fearless and quite feisty too. I'm always happy to see Womack, my happy place for many years. No serious storm damage in Nottingham as far as I know. Enjoy your weekend Lisa.
I think it could only be a pike that got him. I’ve not seen the Barton Monster (loch ness 😉) recently. I need to visit and take seed for the Robin. The BA have a great photo of the boat stuck on the chains.

Lucky the big branch didn’t do any damage. Let’s hope we don’t have too many more storms.

Funny how Robins can be so friendly to humans but can be very aggressive to other birds
